It would probably be a big hassle I suppose. Like, "Oh, I wanna call a superhero, but first I have to go through all this stuff and put in codes and unlock stuff and scan my eyes and whatever high tech security I have in my saferoom." Plus, it ties with the message that sometimes doing nothing or standing back is needed. He wanted to make the aggressive play by calling a super instead of the passive one, and it was his downfall.
As Garyx's editor for this video (against my will I might add), the reason this is not censored is because baby Jack Jack is merely gumming the cookie and not ingesting/chewing/swallowing it in this particular shot. I agree that it's pushing it, and we sincerely apologize to all who were offended. I will bring to the Censorship Board a motion to ban all gumming shots as well, and I will see what they say. Thank you again concerned citizen for reporting this.
@@RyansShorts : I remember in your very first episode, you didn't censor it at all. (Garyx tried not to show it, but he was clearly disgusted.) I realize that it takes time to get things right, and I applaud your efforts.
I'm glad someone else noticed this and that the issue is being addressed. I would hate for my young regrets to see this and some how think that this is in some way condoned by Garyx.
Although I love Earthing Cinema, I'd like to see them return to their roots and explain more complicated/sophisticated movies like Fight Club, Trainspotting, American Psycho and 2001. I enjoyed these earlier approaches more. Just a thought, though. They're still good
Could you guys do an Earthling Cinema on Dr Horrible's Sing-Along-Blog? To see your great eyebrows while hearing and seeing Neil Patrick Harris' voice and face, respectively.
If their powers are metaphors for their roles in the family, then Violet should have the superspeed power ("They grow up so fast"), and the boy should have the invisibility power (because middle children are ignored and invisible).
We are very sorry you had to see this. We agree this pushed the line and so we will censor all forms of mouth liquids or solids. We are extremely sorry you had to see this, please dm us for further questions
Has anyone noticed that in the scene where the ambassadors are signing the bill to make supers legal, one of the signatures is H. Selick or Henry Selick director of Nightmare before Christmas and Coraline.
@@bunnybeer That my friend we both can agree to. But Jared is not so easily defeated. He prides himself as some philosophical leader. He will not give up his self imagined genius of _Rick in Morty_ to some alien and his wife that he verbally abuses.
"The TV child cannot see ahead because he wants involvement, and he cannot accept a fragmentary and merely visualized goal or destiny in learning or in life." [Understanding Media, Marshall McLuhan, 1964, Ch. Television]
"It is a peculiar bias of those who operate media for the owners that they be concerned about the program content of radio, or press, or film. The owners themselves are concerned more about the media as such, and are not inclined to go beyond "what the public wants" or some vague formula. Owners are aware of the media as power, and they know that this power has little to do with 'content' or the media within the media" Understanding Media: The Extensions of Man, Marshall McLuhan, 1964, Ch. 5: Hybrid Energy, p. 60]
02:39 shout out to Johnny Quest also I felt that the commentaries regarding the father's new family role were too chauvinist, I dont't know how things are in space, but here on earth we are trying to eradicate that way of thinking
