Known Error 1. The aliens when they activate they will do so one at a time starting with the closest one. 1. move 2. if adjacent to a character, attack. The attack will provide the option to use defensive fire as long as the alien moved during its activation. Once the closet alien has been resolved the next one will activate. If the defensive fire eliminated the first alien the next one could more adjacent and repeat step 2. The error was made in moving all the aliens then resolving step 2.

Each alien is supposed to complete movement and attack before moving to the next alien,. It mixes up the defensive fire a little... Play throughs are great. Love the tension of the game.

In the first mission, you didn't need a dice tray because there wasn't too much on the board. I suggest using one when you get a lot on the board like you did for mission 2. Great video. Great game!

I'm enjoying your playthroughs, and am really impressed at how well you're doing with the campaign--I still die during this mission which I play with a full deck of cards! I would love to see you play the expansions with the upgrade cards from Ultimate Bada$$es, and fight the queen! This is one of my favorite boardgames, thanks for the videos!
At 1:02:10, those aliens WOULD have been in front of you. You're supposed to resolve each alien move/attack completely before moving the next alien. You don't move all, then attack. So, since you killed the first 2 swarms, the rear 2 would have reached you on their turns. No harm (except to the aliens 😉), no foul.
After playing I thought that might be the case cus it would be more thematic for sure. I was caught off guard by the diagram of Hudson in the rule book showing all the aliens moving before using defensive fire. Thanks for the help and thanks for watching😃😃👍
Stop bashing Gorman because of the movie. He did great in your game. Besides the tech checks. But he is not an engineer. 😉 I am flabbergasted by the amount of rules/situations not covered by the Rulebook. How are all these developers even testing their game.🤔 I finally assembled my miniatures (they are pain in the ass, especially the xenomorphs, which I didn't do all 16 as well, and it seems I should), but I still didn't play a mission yet. The endurance deck mechanic is really cool. You did tons of mistakes and misplays, but still very exciting playthrough, thanks to your amazing enthusiasm. I love your knowledge of the movie being able to perfectly complement all the quotes. Awesome. I can't wait for your next video/mission - keep the event, the flare and one grenade (unfortunately you gotta discard the other 4 of these 7 - the half round up is for the discarded, not for saved).
Your right Gorman definitely did better in my game then in the movie but even then he learned a lot on the job. It’s good to see that there is an official FAQ out but without it there are many instances not covered in the rules. Even with the errors it was great to ah e to community help out and make things right. Got one more mission for the campaign hope we make it out alive. great game !! Whenever you place a Blip, if there are no Blips to place instead move every Blip in the game 3 spaces using the normal Blip movement rules.

Love your enthusiasm and when things go a bit wrong, like the tail falling off the alien in the first episode and when you removed an alien in this episode and it took the marine with it 😂 Great stuff. Incidentally, at 11:20 when you play "Go to sleep and don't dream" you recycled a card from the discard pile. In doing so, you looked through the deck (this is allowed, it says that in the rulebook) BUT you chose the card to recycle and I cannot see that rule anywhere in the rulebook? I thought it should be the top card (no choice)? Is there a rule to this effect that I've missed?

For every blip you cannot place, you have to move every blip on the board three spaces towards the nearest character. This is brutal. The expansion does add more blip tokens so you should see this much less. 1:18:20
This game is great. Makes a nice change for a dungeon crawler like this to be set out as cooperative play instead of vs like so many are. I must admit as a huge aliens fan I have trouble deciding which game I prefer, this or aliens vs predator hunt begins. The great thing is prodos (makers of avp) have released online all their stat cards for the game, so i can use the alien warriors and sentry guns from this game in avp ! Just need to print them out and make the cards 😁. Would he awesome though if galeforce 9 released wall add ons for this as well as doors. Would make the game board so much more interesting
I agree. I am always a huge fan of any new aliens game. The world is so set to be coop since the aliens have such a one track mission “get the all”. 😃😃👍
hello i have a question (i m from france sorry for my english), when a blips move and come in contact with a marines does the blip attack in the same phase? ca the marines shoot on him or must the marines juste make a defense roll?
Great question. If a blip is spotted on its activation you spawn the alien if they have enough movement to end next to a marine they will attack as normal and you can do defensive fire. If a blip moves during the motion tracker cards it does not attack and no defensive fire is used. Hope that makes sense thanks for the great question and thanks for watching 😃😃👍
Hi. Great vid helped me out alot 👍. Just a question on grunts if I activate grunts with one soldier on his turn does another soldier activate those same grunts on his turn ? Thanks
This is a great question. Each character can only be activated once. So you can’t activate the same grunts with multiple heroes hope that makes sense thanks for watching 😃😃👍
