Yes there I time I set my team up and then they don’t move where I want them to. Then when they are exposed they love 6 which is sometimes just to overwhelming to be able to counter. I really enjoy this game. 😃😃👍

To make this scenario more thematic and no doubt more difficult, they could have reduced the use of the pulse rifle and smart gun to having no full auto, as was partly the case in the film, and use only the regular guns to fire instead of full auto. Just a thought, great play through as always.
I agree you could even take it a step farther and only allow pistols flame units and smart guns. On grenades and wow would that be a challenge. Hunmmm looks like I have something I have to try this weekend. Thanks for a great comment and as always Bernard for watching 😃😃👍
I thought the white lines didn't block line of site only the walls? I think there was a couple of times you could see a blip through the lines. I got this game for my birthday, can't wait to play it
I have the old Prodos AvP game and I might just integrate the acid damage rule from there into this game. Now there aren't really hit points in this game but acid damage on a D10 would be a 1-3 could cause it in adjacent spaces causing a KO if you fail the defense roll. In addition, spaced impacted by acid cost double movement points going through them. That would be in a hard mode but 100% plan to do it. It's thematic for sure.
First of all, great videos! As I am waiting for the glue on my minis to dry and set I've watching these. I have one question so far regarding the alien's acid blood. This seems to be a big oversight in the design, but you have reference that they added it in an expansion. Which one?
Thank you. The acid is brought in from the Queen alien expansion I think it’s called “get away from her you B.....”. Or something of that nature. I don’t know how it’s implemented though. Hope that helps thanks for watching 😃😃👍

I'm confused, there seems to be two versions of the rulebook. In my version aliens break barricades on 5+ and you draw three motion tracker cards in a two player game. Are there several editions of this game or am I going mad? What version of the rule book is the latest?
At 1hr 20 min I don't think the alien's move into the APC however, If Ripley was still in that space after the barricade fails she would be adjacent to an alien and would have to immediately roll for defense. I'm under the impression that once an alien stops it's movement either from running out of spaces combat or barricade they do not move again.
You may be right I know this rule was discussed on board game geeks web page. Also I may have been addressed in the official FAQ. Hope that helps and thanks for watching 😃😃👍
I saw in a FAQ that an alien WILL continue its movement if it successfully breaks through a barricade. So even on the turn before this one, it it passed the barricade roll, it would’ve continued its move and moved inside the APC.

I did paint the marines they were fun to paint. I didn’t do anything to the aliens Gale Force was smart to make them black plastic it works perfect. 😃😃👍
The aliens will activate and Atari during the alien activation step, and also during the blip movement step. They will not attack during the motion tracker cards even if they move next to a marine. Hope that helps thanks for the great question and thanks for watching 😃😃👍
No at the beginning of each mission you can load out your characters from any cards not in the discard area. The pay to equip is only once the game mission has started. Hope that makes sense. 😃😃👍
