Ive had several issues with mine, notably when the Alienware Command Center app shits out and the laptop becomes a brick... most times you can only reset your laptop to get it to work because that app will not install or reinstall without doing so
This is for people like me. I love my xps13, I am a pilot and travel every time I go to work. On 8hr flights I have time in crew rest where I could do CAD design. This is like an XPS13 on steroids. For me this is gold. Plus I called dell and got a discount for my loyalty. Fully spec’d except 1TB instead of 2. Just saying I’m stoked for my roided up XPS13 😂
The x14 with 16gb of ram at 5200 and a 3060 with 1tb ssd is 1850. Which should put it at around the same value as the upcoming g14 and less than the razer 14 2022. No need for 32gb unless you're editing multiple streams of 8k video.
I have the X17 R1 absolutely love it but I had to get this I do a lot of traveling it’s really not that bad I went with the maxed out version it was $2,299 I would recommend that new mouse aw720m to pair I’m sticking with my Xbox series X headset tho😂
@@VinnigTiredOfCompaniesGimping how is that stupid? Because you don’t agree 🤣🤣 if you don’t like don’t buy 32ddr5 5200mhz 12th gen chip set and 2tb ssd I’m sure that’s where that $400 came from my dude … what’s in your wallet?
@@thatoff-roaddude9515 nah its stupid and thats a fact. Price per performance says so. It’s your money so no issue for me. $2300 for any laptop and you’re getting 1080p with 7-8ms response time with a 3060 gpu thats a max q is down right dumb. If portability is worth that much to you then hey you see a crazy value in it. If this was $1600 yea i can see that price for casual gaming but when you hit the $2k mark, you don’t spend $2k or more for casual gaming and for a crap 1080p panel…
I see you obviously don’t know Tech oled ?? 90hz a bigger gpu that’s why they have the X15 the 14 is for Casual gaming on the go not killing the batt smh you can’t please everyone I guess lol
@@thatoff-roaddude9515 you where talking about spending 2300$ for casually gaming…. Yea not many spend that amount for casually gaming. 90hz oled will give you hdr and much better looking dolby vision, plus 2ms response time which is much better than the current 7 or 8ms response time on that crappy 1080p panel they’re offering.
I wouldn't buy it. I only buy 17 inch machines. Plus they took away Alienware key signature features like the tron light and alien power button. That thing will run like a toaster knowing dell. The x15 already struggled to cool the i711800h. A smaller chassis will only make heat worse.
The review people like verge and a few others who have it already and testing it said heat actually doesn't seem to be an issue. They tested out like red dead and a few other triple a titles.
