'Alika sung by Keao Costa & Madison Makanaokahaku Scott. Our friend Torie Smith was so kind to introduce Makanaokahaku to Keao at the Hawaiian Slack Key festival in Redondo Beach. When Keao met her he asked her if she was the one he saw a video of singing in Hawaiian. He told her he just had to sing with her and ran to get an ukulele back stage. After that, he wanted to do another song. Here it is. Wow! Keao really encouraged her to keep singing and loving Hawaiian music and language. Makanaokahaku was delighted by his enthusiasm and aloha. Mahalo to Keao, Torre and Mitch Chang for a sweet memory made.
