Yeah, cause in this movie, the zombies apparently have some semblance of intelligence, because right before the officer fired the gun, one of the zombies knocked the gun out of her hand, but there's no way a typical zombie would think to do that or even do it on accident. And the zombie that was kill #14 actually climbed up. Dealing with typical zombies is already scary enough, but dealing with zombies that are actually smart? That's even scarier.

@@zacharyfrierson6972 Man, gives me chills thinking about that. Knocking the gun out and dragging her away tells me they wanted her alive for that. They're using human brain power for savage cruelty. And that climbing zombie, you could actually see intent written all over his face when he secures the chord and when he looks back at the other guy. "I'm gonna eat her and you can't do shit" kinda vibes lol.

They survived, as I remember, as in the last scenes they were texting Woo again when he checked on his phone messages (at that moment, they flew away, and as they've changed position whie beinh on that helicopter, the connection was OK again)

I feel like I read a Korean manhwa with a similar premise. Zombie apocalypse with a boy in one apartment building, a girl in another across the courtyard. Except she was in a wheelchair. TL;DR: the apocalypse was caused by an energy drink company.

Why does it feel like this movie has some connections to Seoul Station and Train to Busan? Think about it this way: this one happened in the middle of those 2 movies (albeit a spin-off of sorts). Like those kinds of people that are too scared to leave so they did what they can to survive in their condos during this whole zombie(/infected) invasion (ignoring the obvious quarantine references). Does that makes sense? ^^;
