Hi Manny, I just made an Alkaline Vegan Jamaican Irish Moss Drink using the Hemp Milk. It's perfect! I love being able to still enjoy the things I grew up having but putting an alkaline vegan twist to it. You are appreciated!
👋🏾 new sub here. I appreciate your uploads and your attention to detail... Blessings to you and your family and thank you for sharing. I have a request do you have any zero glucose or low carb or sugar beverage recipes like iced tea for the hot summer days that can go with these great meals you are sharing ? No one makes videos of different alkaline cold drinks...
Wow... thanks for subscribing! I really appreciate your support. Also, thanks for making a request. I'll definitely be taking on this challenge. 1 alkaline cold drink in the pipeline 💪🏿 be on the lookout 👀
Blessings Manny! I recently transitioned from a pescatarian to an alkaline plant base diet (Dr. Sebi) and in the past few weeks have thoroughly enjoyed your recipes. Quick question… when making any of the fresh milks (i.e. walnut, hemp, coconut, etc.) how long do you recommend freshness in the refrigerator? Thank you. Ooops! 🤦🏽♀️ I just read a previous post of 3-5 days.
Scrumptious! Nicely done with the cup over the 2 tablespoons. Made it and it came out creamier than how I was making it with the 2 tablespoons. Immediately made a serving of mango sorbet. 😋 #alkalinelife #hempmilk
I recently decided to start making my own hemp milk and while I like the nutty flavour I can't get over the "earthy" flavour. I'm the beginning it was just hemp seeds & water. As I added more water, vanilla & honey it got better but I still can't get over the "earthy" flavouring. What else can I hide to mask it??? *without adding strawberries or cacao*
You've mentioned everything I'd use to mask the flavor. Heating it up over the stove may help? Also, maybe give it a really brief (1 min max), light toast? Just a guess, but I believe the earthy flavor is strong because the seeds are raw. Have you tried Walnut milk?... Assuming you're not allergic. It's way creamier and it doesn't come with the earthy flavor. Here's my video if you're interested: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-j3RQKqw7Clo.html Pleas Ignore this if you're allergic to nuts. I hope this helps.
I'll be honest I was in a hurry because I was in the middle of making it so I missed the part where you mentioned ginger but when I saw it and added a *tiny* bit it really took that "earthy" flavour and yes the heating it help. I will try roasting them a tiny bit. I love how easy hemp milk is and all the nutritional value it adds along with environmental friendly so I could not give up on it! Thank you so much!!!
Hi, not yet. I have a lot of recipes in line before this request. Ingredients are ready and all. I'll get to it, but it may be a little while. Thanks for understanding.
Depending on how you're consuming it (cereal, porridge, plain, etc), you could choose to leave it in. It's equally as good. I don't believe it's hard on the digestive system at all... at least not for me. You absolutely don't have to strain it. It just makes it smoother and gives it a milky texture.
What is your Instagram page? I love your channel so much. I where did you buy your hemp hearts from? You should make a video on how to turn your hemp seeds into hemp hearts.
😅😭 Ebizzle! You never seize to make me laugh 🤣 Yeah, you need a good blender and you need to pass it through a cheesecloth. Still doesn't taste as good as Walnut milk though. New video dropping next.
it's definitely not about the price, but I'm sorry it's so costly in your area, good thing they can be used for SOOOO much more AND you can choose to use nuts (if not allergic) for homemade milk also
