Not discounting them at all. The do exactly what you say, but they don't accomplish all of the benefits found via an ionizer.

Right but in your presentation in unfairness, you present them to be acidic without any further explanation that they alkalize after metabolizing. This presents that that are not a benefit or fail compared to what you are selling.

They do fail compared to the multiple benefits an ionizing mineral cartridge offers.

Can you tell me where you got the liquid to measure PH levels

That depends on the quality of your well, but if you are drinking the well water normally, then yes, this pitcher will work great.
