hi sir, how do we determine the bp of alkyl halides. for instance, which one has the lowest bp, t-butyl chloride, n-butyl chloride, t-butyl bromide, n-butyl iodide, or t-butyl iodide? i know the answer is t-butyl chloride but why?

so to be clear down group EN decreases but bond energy/ strength decrease because the increase in atomic radius is the dominant factor?
