I remember playing the original game on the Wii and not thinking it very special. But this new esthetic is quite clean and nice to view. It's certainly cool to see a game where sonic classic can control in a 3d environment without having to rely on the boost system.

As far as I've watched, there are guardrails & bumped edges literally everywhere including during a boss who's only attack is blowing wind on you. So yeah, definitely easier to a pathetic degree unless it gets tons harder later.
