@@cupidok2768 okay, so I did go with the Experience, but not plus. Still wanna get the mutes, but they work so well for my autism. And I can still talk to people.
I bought these a few days ago! I haven’t received them yet but I got them for my sensory issues. I got the experience pros so I have the option to switch in the mute rings
@@xMysticJulia They aren’t unlike wearing regular ear buds but you can hear a lot more. They really helped me out going to the store but I felt I needed to pull one out to hear my SO talking when I used them to block out his chewing. So great for blocking or deafening ambient noise but a little much for casual conversation at least in my case. Baseline, everything’s volume is lowered, but higher pitched noises like kids voices still get through well, just in a slightly lower pitch. Hearing lower voices is a bit hard and you might need to take one out. Like them a lot but I wish they had them available with more range. -14 decibels instead of -18 would be awesome. I’d use those more. It’s worth noting that they do amplify your internal noises like your chewing, talking, coughing and you can hear your blood a bit like a rumble but that’s understandable since it’s not unlike what earbuds do too A big bonus is how cool they look! In gold they look like futuristic jewelry so I don’t have to feel weird about wearing them in places like parties or loud get togethers!
I have PTSD that contributes to noise sensitivity. I will feel that when out shopping or the family is doing stuff at home. I got The Loop Engage. They do a nice job to reduce dBs and allow me to hear speech. The Loops allow me to clear my mind and not have noise keep me on constant alert.
Hey Edalder2000 thank you so much for joining the conversation. Sharing your experience will help others. I am really glad you get a lot of benefit from them. -Michael
Can you hear yourself breathe, talk, or even sing with these? I want to buy the experience ones for the Eras tour and will be singing along but I dont want to only hear my own voice
Hi Aidan. The truth is, I've never tried an ear plug that completely eliminates the inner sounds of the head (breathing, speaking, singing) but LOOP is the best their is for ear protection and to stop occulation. There is another LOOP product that just came out and it is the BEST for this very thing you are asking about. I did a full review and as a singer, you could tell I was very excited: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4dFed-mutqk.html However, depending on how close you will be to the band, you may want to go with the Experience. If not, go with the Engage Plus. Does this help? -Michael
Hi MermaidCurry10! What a great question- one that others have asked. Yes you can. I did a whole video covering some FAQ and this one you just asked was my favorite! You can watch it here if you’d like: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6WffjYx_dZw.html Greetings from New York! -Michael
Crap I already ordered my pair. Background noise is severely loud to me so I took the test and I got mine from that. I was thinking about looking into either the sleep pair or the parenting pair. I also suffered from sleep issues because of it but I use a fan at night to block out noise. The parenting ones I’m curious how they work though. I have autism so when my daughter throws a tantrum, I immediately freeze up in my brain is basically blank but all thoughts and anxiety at the same time. It’s hard to explain. I’ve never really got an answer as to what that is except for being overstimulated.
It's not "the sleeping pair" and "the parenting pair". You're talking about the Quiet I think. I'm AuDHD, so I'm autistic too, and I just got mine to try at school tomorrow
Thank you for recognizing that! I always try to keep up with the comments. I love getting feedback from the music community here on my channel. -Michael
I don’t know if I’m putting them in wrong or what. I have the Quiet. I’ve tried all the sizes but it doesn’t reduce the noise level by very much. big waste of money. My foam ones worked a lot better.
Wow! I love the quiet. The foam earplugs are so bulky. Yes, they block out more sound that LOOP however, I don't find them comfortable at all. Either way, I am sorry you didn't have a good experience with them. -Michael
Great question. The answer is they work really well to lower the overall volume of the room and yet you can definitely still have one on one conversations. Does that answer your question? -Michael
@@Megha1789 okay. if you’re looking to really lower the noise in the environment around you then I would go with Loop Quiet. If you need to interact, I would go with Experience Pro. By interacting I mean having conversations with people. You can of course still hear using the Quiet but it’ll definitely be so much nicer and peaceful. Does that help?
Can you hear yourself while wearing them? Cause I do singing alot and I'm trying to find earplugs that don't sound like I'm talking muffled. Just wondering
Hey Music Man- Since I did this video, LOOP released LOOP ENGAGE PLUS and it’s hands down my favorite earplug ever specifically for singing. It helps so much with that muffled sound you were mentioning. Check out my full review here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4dFed-mutqk.html I hope this helps. -Michael
Yes! The Engage is my personal favorite! I did a full review on it. At the time I did this video it didn't exist. Here is the video if you're interested: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4dFed-mutqk.html -Michael
@@Adhd-autism855 sure is…I am sure if you explained ahead of time that you’re not listening to music and you’re quieting the volume of the environment so you can focus, that they would be totally okay with that. -Michael
@@michaelmingoiamusic Great stuff, got the engage, basic usage is good, but for big events, Experience plus, they have one gold leaf from Tomorrowland =D
Sometimes it would be just myself and other times it would be in an amplified band. Either way, the violin (especially the higher strings) is too loud without protection when it is so close to my ears
@@haileyandanimals8399 Hi. Here is the list in order of least to most noise cancelling (1 being the least and 6 being the most): 1. LOOP ENGAGE: $34.95 Noise Reduction Rate (NRR) = -16 decibels. (Great for having conversations in a noisy environment). 2. LOOP ENGAGE PLUS: $44.95 Noise Reduction Rate (NRR) = -16 to -21 decibels. The mute option drops an additional -5 db's. (Great for singers!). 3. LOOP EXPERIENCE: $34.95 USD Noise Reduction Rate (NRR) =18-20 decibels. (Great for concerts and motorcycling). 4. LOOP X Tomorrowland EXPERIENCE: $34.95 USD Noise Reduction Rate (NRR) =18-20 decibels. (Specific Design for Tomorrowland Event but an be used in place of LOOP EXPERIENCE). 5. LOOP EXPERIENCE PLUS = $44.95 USD Noise Reduction Rate (NRR) = 18-26 decibels. The mute option drops an additional -5 db's. (Great for FRONT ROW of concerts). 6. LOOP QUIET = $24.95 USD Noise Reduction Rate (NRR) = -27 decibels. (Great for Sleep and Studying). Does this detailed breakdown help you? -Michael
@@michaelmingoiamusic thank you, yes that's the one. So after looking into it a bit more it seems it claims 2 different standards of noise reduction. 15 dB (SNR) / 7 dB (NNR). Not sure I fully understand this but I think this is where I was lost.
ive heard alot about the occulation problems with the loop earplugs which is the main reason I haven't bought them yet, alot of people say they can hear themself eating or talking really loudly in their head, was this a problem for you?
While occulation is inevitable in all earplugs, I found it the least noticeable in LOOP Engage Plus. I did a full review just on that product because I was very excited about the low amount of occulation. It came out right after I did this video. Hi Helena Vs, I am so sorry to hear that. I wish I knew the territories that the code wasn't available for. Did you try emailing LOOP? They may be able to do something to help. Greetings from New York 🙂 - Michael
Hi Cornboi, Thank you for letting me know. I just tried it and it appears there is some glitch with the system. I apologize. I emailed Loop and I am waiting a response. Not, that you’re concerned with this, but its not about the affiliate sale for me. If you need these asap and can’t wait AND can afford to buy it without waiting for the discount to work again please do. I say this because I wont get the commission but it’s not about that for me. I just love this product so much and I wanted to let others no how awesome they are. Once I get word that the code is working again I’ll let you know. So sorry for the inconvenience. -Michael
Hi Cornboi. Sorry for the delay. They fixed my promo code. If you are still interested here is the active discount code: LOOPXMICHAELMINGOIA Let me know if that helps. -Michael
I love wearing my AirPods at work, one in one out, but it’s not allowed and I keep getting caught. I’m hoping these will allow me to fly under the radar.
@rose @1igt, Yes. I agree that Experience without the mute option would be a good choice. For me personally, I would wear Engage Plus in the class because I talk a lot lol. All kidding aside, both Experience and Engage would be great choices. Does this help? -Michael
Oh no! I'm so sorry. I will ask LOOP if there is something going on with it. The only thing I can think is there was already a Black Friday discount code on them and the two codes couldn't be combined. I'll ask. -Michael
Hi h h. My first full video review I did on them is here and it should help you out with putting them in your ears: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9g0WFYsNulA.html -Michael
Hi. Yes, the Loop ring definitely is supposed to be visible. There are other products that make it way harder to tell that someone is wearing hearing protection. Unless, you are possibly putting them in incorrectly, they should feel very comfortable IMO. -Michael
Well there is only so much I can say and do in 60 seconds. Here is a video that you’ll be able to see how to insert them. Forward to 2:45. Have a great day. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9g0WFYsNulA.htmlsi=w6aZC3PfXZp6FqZP -Michael
$35 is the most expensive one they sell. Do you use earplugs? I haven’t found any for cheap that aren’t…cheap. This is the best bang for your buck if your serious about protecting your ears. -Michael
Hi P. Koochi. This video was made before Engage existed. However, I did a video just on Engage here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4dFed-mutqk.html -Michael
