ALL 4 RWBY Skins Tested and Rated! HOW GOOD are they? - Paladins 

Since RWBY is my favorite show, I'm obviously going to get this. I am disappointing at the corners cut in quality, but I am excited for the original voice actors as voice packs. Been waiting for the crossover for a long time now. I for one think Ruby's voice is adorable.

While I understand that just there isn't a character that would work properly with Yang on Paladins, using Imani for her is such a waste, Imane would be a perfect Cinder with fire and ice abilities with her maiden powers and the grimm dragon.

Looking at yangs right hand makes me uncomfortable. Why is it so thin?

Anyone else thinking Blake’s decoy should’ve been a shadow clone instead since it matches her semblance?

Weiss is probably the one I like the most despite the fact that I'll probably still use Battlesuit Angel more. Yang understandably has few options in game and I'm glad she wasn't Andro because flanks don't need more skins. However Yang's feels rushed or incomplete, like it shouldn't exist here. Maybe it's just the brighter colors of Paladins but she looks really awkward.

A Cinder skin would have been the perfect choice over yang giving the fact that the character uses elemental powers. Definitely a missed opportunity.

Can we just appreciate how impractical Saati's gun is? The blade in that position makes no sense; even if it flips forward there's still the potential that someone could just punch her gun and end up slicing her. Alternatively, if she gets tumbled around in a fight from a knockback or mishandles the recoil, that blade is liable to go somewhere it shouldn't.

I like the way imani's face looks. The look of horror when Im the last thing someone sees will be satisfying ngl.

Now that I look at it in detail I think Ruby is supposed to be shooting rose petals 😅 how you make these skins look so beautiful is beyond me, astounding job!

Honestly, I feel like Yang and Weiss could have been done a lot better if the skins were given to Ash and Lian instead, it seems like they only really chose Imani and Furia because of their weapons, but I feel like in terms of base character model and personality, they would have fit a lot better with Ash and Lian Yang on Ash would make Yang more bulky and strong like how she is in the show, and even though the weapon is not something Yang would use, Ash's kit just fits a lot better with Yang than Imani's (why is she using ice why is she using ice why is she using ice) Weiss on Lian, although oversaturated with skins, would have been a perfect match, fitting with Lian's animations and model more smoothly rather than how she looks on Furia, weapon could be done the same and just be given the ice effects for the different weapon shots, saves us from the debate of Weiss Furia being P2W for her lack of wings

Why anyone would ever use Yang over Star Sister or Genesis, I'll never understand. Overall, this crossover is a "meh"/10 from me. Also, it would've been nice if you pointed out that this Furia skin has nothing in place of where her wing should be, which makes it a bit harder to recognize her as the character Furia. She can still look like Weiss without taking away that identifiability from Furia, because she honestly looks like she could be Lian without the wings and that really skinny weapon.

If you get the chance to try out the Seris skin as well I would literally ball my eyes out. I love all these skins. So excited for the patch 😭

The skins, the 1st person textures, THAT ARM on yang AND the splash arts (mostly Yang) is what placed the nail in the coffin in not buying the pass I like Paladins getting crossover stuff, but with that quality? Dang

dude, you find the best music to vibe to out there, im fairly new to your channel and all i can say that your presentations are top tier!

My feedback on all skins: Ruby: those eyes make me feel like a barbie doll and the voice- i agree on ruby/10 Blake: the decoy is the biggest downfall, the fact the decoy shoots out of the whips handle instead of them having her hold the gun looks awkward, marker being defat and default voice, im curious how animation/sfx got 10/10 when decoy is just janky YANG: someone buy her a new hand for the love of god Weiss: i feel like looking into her eyes may be the most souless out of them all and the fact she has no form of wings at all will always set me off, also ice powers sounding like a rusty shotgun as her primary fire? How i rate them all: Better in Smite/10

overall i love all the skins, even the yang one even tho i dont think the model is the best quality. I love all the voices and i noticed on the Ruby and Yang skin specifically some of the joke lines are actual lines from the show, example Ruby: I dont wanna be the bees knees, i dont wanna be any kind of knees, i just wanna be a normal girl with normal knees. this might be an unpopular opinion, but i think Ruby and Weiss have the best looking faces, with Blake in 3rd and Yang last >.> also will you be reviewing the Qrow and Salem skins?

They don't care which characters get the skin or if it fits, they just throw it on literally anything they can find

Your right about the voice acting, it’s sounds off but It probably has more to do with direction than they’re voice actors, they also sounded weird in Blaze Blue Cross Tag Battle, it could be that they were told to read lines from a paper with little to no direction, considering its a small part in a video game

I love Yang with my whole heart and it hurts watching what they have done to her

Damn, the only ones I like are Saati and the effects and weapon for the Furia but I just know there won't be a free skin and I'll have to either choose to give money for cut corners (which I'm sure the RWBY community doesn't like) or go without having my favorite type of blade for Furia or a skin I actually like for Saati

Although I didn't watch RWBY (I instead watched Red vs. Blue), I'm still interested in the main characters and am definitely buying this pass (+ hopefully Seris and Corvus one), even though the models have some "tech issues". (+ I really need Vora and Furia skins...)

im guessing the contrast was a bit too bright for the model (and also that they have anime noses) in the thumbnail since there are some not to pretty line work (not complaining) great video though, you're always making the next video even better than the last!

I can't pick between blake and weiss on which skin I like more. Lol I don't think I even got enough crystals to buy them. The pass costs 750 this time which is even more than the battlepasses (600) from back then. Lady luck im counting on you this time.

It's crazy how yang doesn't fit on a character in either hirez crossover. In smite she should've been ravana. But seeing her jump up and turn into a grimm was satisfying in a very specific way.

The best thing about this? it event pass, so 400 crystal while playing the game and you got all the skin, im so eager for this, especially if the TS is right, Vora skin is right at level 1 pass, such amazing news to have.

Got them in SMITE so for me I gotta cope them in Paladins as well. Haven't played it too much in a while but it'll be fun to go back in. Probably gonna be playing Weiss since I main Furia but I do want to play Blake but never played Saati before lol

This is a bit of a off topic thing, but i hope paladins gets a reboot game! Maybe one were its cast is a bit smaller, allowing for the developers to think of more fleshed out card synergies for the characters load outs

I wonder how complicated it would have been to give different hand animations when you use the Yang skin. Like instead of open palm do the same with a closed fist. But at least her riding a grimm dragon is pretty awesome tho

Another great, great job coming from you. This type of video it's my favorite and i always expecting this. About Imani's skin, i guess she deserve something better. This skin appears something really, really ugly, low renderization, the hand and fingers looks creppy and weird. Hope improvement in the final versio, but course, i'm not count with that. It's a great step for our game, a cross like this, so i'm trying beeing positive about that. But imani's skins? Freak me out when i tested in PTS.

The biggest problem with this skins is - they port them straight from Smite and didnt even fix them for Paladins.

My only problem is that I don't know how to level the pass fast and I can't really find any help from this year in RU-vid at least on how to do it Btw Imani as Yang? But Yang is supposed to be a brawler and she uses shotguns fists, it just feels so rushed like they could have thought of it so much better but had to release them like something that was in the way that they had to do, come on even in Smite at least she can use her hands to punch but here it's just not "accurate" and in the end won't feel like the character just as if the voice actress for a new character that looks like Yang, I guess it's better then nothing since she is my favorite character from Rwby

to be honest.. i dont know at this point. Im a furia main and i absolutely love the furia skin but i hate the fact that its on the last level like i feel like its the best one and as always they place it on the last level but its just kinda annoying because it takes time to finish it especially when its a crossover event pass since it has more levels.. well im thinking of buying the whole event pass which means 1500 crystals but i also need the seris skin that can either be 400 or 800 depending on my luck. Now its not the money thats the problem for me at least, its just... the skins are kinda low effort besides the furia seris and maybe ruby ones.. like take corvus for example, his gun is soooo simple like i have no idea what to say and the textures on some skins are ineed weird...

Ruby and Blake are alr but Yang was such a fail omfg. I feel like if one character fails, they shouldn't do the skins at all period. At least they should create a character that has gauntlets. Andro can punch but Yang doesn't fly like him. Weiss was cool just wish her weapon didnt have the default sound for furia. Imo, as weird as it may seem, they should have switched out he main characters that couldn't get a champion for characters that can. For ex. Cinder or Amber as Imani, Qrow as Zhin (as I saw in another comment), Ironwood and Andro are similar but idk what could be done abt the flying, Cinder as Io could work (probably) IMAGINE NORA AS TERM OR MAKOA HUAFHNAUFNAUJHSNF

Mouse I don't know if you've done this but do these skins look weird because they are ripped from smite or is it because it's on a different engine. I know that for your videos you pull the models into Blender which is why the metal and leather textures look better but I was just curious as to the reason they look different

Omg 2 skins with Salt voice why D: the Helium Pass. They are ok but i wish they detailed a bit more the models, for example no nails.

I like effects on Furia ult and that's about it. Battlesuit Angel is too satisfying to play. Seris' looks awesome but I don't play her.

Yang Xao Long skin should have been a Tyra skin with out a doubt. The only reason it’s an Imani skin is because of the bad ass dragon.

I feel like Name/10's in voice acting just means (sub 5)/10

RWBY Volume 7 Designs will always be some of my favorite outfits of the series Also I kind of expected this but Yang's just... doesn't work. They turned a close range brawler into a mage and it just feels so awkward to look at And overall it just feels like they could have done more with everyone but Ruby. I mean, Blake's whole thing is shadows and dashes, a shadow left over for a split second after the backblast would have been nice Yang is just... a huge mess, the completely wrong type of character to use her for. Hell they probably could have sized her up and put her as terminus and it would have worked better, especially with her "Comeback" semblance Weiss IS the caster with a wide variety of dust "spells" that she uses, but ALL of them are ice in the paladins version, and her glyphs are what cast the ice, why is she throwing them at the enemies with her Wings of Wrath. And the ult... they use ice for that too when she HAS a glyph that speeds things up. Ice for her basic attack, fire for wings of wrath, and haste for inflame and it would have been perfect. Also, if you see this mister video poster. Because Ruby got into Beacon Academy 2 years earlier, and it's often brought up that she's younger than the others, when Weiss says "Young ones" she's probably just talking about Ruby (and maybe oscar cause it's plural)

Salem would have made more sense for Imani. Especially the Dragon.

well i was right about 3 of them, but i thought yang would have been an Ashe Skin.

Imani was the wrong choice for Yang. Fernando feels much better if you need a tank and are willing to let the shield thing slide. He has a charge, a heavy ranged attack, and his basic attacks could easily be animated as a series of left-right punches.
