My dad and I tried to watch the first one, we finished it, and we were not convinced we should watch the whole franchise haha When No Time To Die is released would you do a James Bond films ranking? Great video!
Ah man! Sad to hear this franchise wasn’t for you! I’m a big fan of the first 3 especially! And as for Bond, I’m undecided yet if I want to rank all 25 or just the Daniel Craig ones. It’s a big franchise and there are many of the older ones I haven’t seen! Thanks for watching as always dude!
Yo Brett!!! Love this video!!! The Jason Bourne movies are some of the coolest!! Those are the films that really defined the early 2000s due to the political climate and espionage of that time. My favorite Bourne film has always been the Bourne Ultimatum because that’s the one with the most action! It’s even fast paced and has the Bourne vs Desh fight! It’s even one of my favorite films of 2007! With Bourne Legacy and Jason Bourne, they’re fine. They do twist the Bourne Trilogy’s storyline but they still have some redeemable qualities. But, this is a great video! 🎬🎥
Very well said Mac! Ultimatum is my favourite as well for similar reasons! I also felt it wrapped things up, or so we thought for almost 10 years, very nicely! I also agree with your thoughts on the last 2. They definitely weren’t necessary, but I still enjoy them for what they are! Thanks for sharing your thoughts buddy! I appreciate it 😊
Nice one! Fun fact, Supremacy was actually my favourite for the longest time! I only switched it after the rewatch I did for this video! Thanks for watching!
Great ranking, Brett! Bourne started as a strong action trilogy and Matt Damon kills it in the role. Although I was disappointed with the last two and felt like they didn’t really justify their existence. Hoping we get another really good Bourne movie in the future. My ranking: 1. Ultimatum - A 2. Identity - B+ 3. Supremacy - B+ 4. Jason Bourne - C+ 5. Legacy - C+
Thanks Jack! And I completely agree my friend! The first trilogy is exceptional, the most recent 2 are still good but come no where near the heights of the original 3! Thanks for watching dude, and as always for sharing your own ranking too!
Very nice! I enjoy them all too honestly! I do think that Legacy and Jason Bourne are a step back from the first 3, but still super enjoyable! Thanks for watching!
Supremacy was my favourite growing up! But after that rewatch before doing the video I decided to switch them around a bit! Thanks for checking out the video!
No love for The Bourne Legacy I see haha, I actually really enjoyed it but it did feel like a step back from the first 3! Awesome list, thanks for sharing!
Well done my friend! Just about the same as mine! Cool to see you swap Legacy to #4, I actually quite enjoyed it despite its last place spot on my list! Thanks for checking out the video and sharing your thoughts!
I knew you'd respond to my request eventually so here's my list: 5. The Bourne Legacy 4. The Bourne Supremacy 3. The Bourne Identity 2. Jason Bourne 1. The Bourne Ultimatum
Of course my friend! I meant it when I said I was marking it down! Just took me a while as I started a new full-time job back at the beginning of June so it took me an extra little to get around to my rewatches and first time watches. Great list though, very surprised to see Jason Bourne up so high! Certainly straying from the norm! Appreciate you coming around to check this one out!
@@BAMTubeMovies I feel Jason Bourne has more interesting touches than Legacy. Like the father subplot connected to Bourne's submission to the Treadstone program as far as I remember. Legacy had the least interesting plot for me and I remember getting bored with it. Felt like a side quest focused on different characters with connections to Ultimatum thrown together. Supremancy is my second least favorite since it felt like it was only building bridges for Ultimatum. Karl Urban didn't do much for me either. At the very least, Supremacy and JB feel more connected to the trilogy than Legacy to me.
@@wickdaline8668 I found nothing to be interesting or feel earned in Jason Bourne. It was just a complete retread of so many things we remember from the original trilogy. That whole information privacy subplot added nothing to the story, the villain assassin's motivation is so generic and that whole father subplot really did not add much to the overall story.
Very nice very nice! Nearly identical to my own! Honestly happy to see a bit more love for Legacy, I had a really good time with it! Thanks for checking the video!
Very nice! Love the Bourne Identity, was very close to giving it my #1 as well! I think the whole original trilogy is exceptional. Very surprised to see Jason Bourne up so high though! But I must admit, I did like it a lot more than I expected to! Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the Bourne franchise!
I think Bourne Legacy is unfairly maligned. It's just as energetic as the earlier Bourne films and I've actually re-watched it more times than all of the other movies.
I honestly agree, it’s placement may not indicate that and I do have my issues, but I went into this movie for the first time for this ranking expecting it to be mediocre at best but I ended up really really enjoying it! Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts! Always nice to see a defender of Legacy!
Solid list! Growing up, Supremacy was always my favourite! It was only these last couple of years that I switched it up, still freaking love Supremacy though. Honestly the whole original trilogy is just stellar! So well made, great flicks!
It's listed as a mini-series, and pretty much no one knows it exists tbh. Even if you search it up on IMDb you actually have to dig for it and it only has maybe 4,000 or so reviews
I didn't hate Legacy in all honesty. I mean in terms of the Bourne continuity (if that exists??) it feels so out of place but I get what they were going for. The attempt to start a new series of movies with a new hero is definitely there, just wasn't super well executed and without Damon it was never going to work
Identity, Supremacy, Ultimatum, Jason Bourne, and the Bourne Legacy is probably better than Su, Ul, and JB, if not it challenges them greatly, I don't ever want to hear someone say The Bourne Legacy was a bad movie, it was great, it just didn't have Mattison Dameon
