34:58 The fact that Ruka wrote and composed this Korean part herself and this part being the best verse in the whole performance shows a lot about her talent. New Gen YG rapper!!
Next, checkout their introduction videos so you can know more about them especially how they became a trainee and a member of the group. Love your reaction❤
Ruka performances are the kind you see in concerts though.. her stage presence is INSANEEEEEE!! Also… notice how in both this performance and her solo mission.. she made a mash up or medley.. like this girl knows how to do a performance right! Sometimes even adding choreography or in this performance we don’t see her face that much, but her body language and moving around the stage again is just so NATURAL. She truly is born to be a star and be on stage. She’s too good!
The first reaction is okay, its genuine and not fake it all Cool. For a little background for this performance is all the performance you see is around 2020 to 2021 from there monthly evaluation for the trainee so this is very old and they are very young. Go watch the member reveal tonight then after that react to introduction of members to know them more and leading up to last evaluation. It's great content to watch and really interesting how a Big company make a GG specially YG that has the very successful GG by each gen. 😎🔥
They're all so good! Yeah, the rappers all seem to write their own verses, Haram has written some lyrics too, even within the covers. Both main rappers are Japanese but they rap in English and Korean, their mentors who were evaluating them mentioned in some of the episodes that they were surprised by how good they are at creating meaningful rhymes/bars in Korean despite it not being their first language. Members have said Asa is "like a Korean" and she is seen helping the Thai members with their Korean pronunciation. They all have skills and experience in different areas and seem to happily help each other out, I'm so glad they have each other and seemingly get on so well. I hope that their connection only grows and strengthens over the years, they will become so strong if they can do that! Don't worry about the ratings on Chiquita, she's only been training for one year and some months, compared to over four years of training by the other members, she's got lots to learn and catch up, but she's already so stable, she's a baby monster for real and will only go up from here. Can you imagine all of them five years from now!? 😮
I mean you gotta know Japanese and Korean are quite similar languages with many similar word pronounciations vs Thai but yea 10000% Chiquita will get to that level in no time but for now JUST LET HER COOK
Cant wait to see you watch their introductions and see how (adorable) they are off stage. Also lots of insight how (young) they started from their auditions and how they grew over all their monthly evaluations. So yeah... more please 😂
she doesn't scream into the mic. she just doesn't NEED a mic. she has crazy projection and she's 15/16 yrs old she'll learn to pull it back and they'll fine tune her equipment to be less sensitive when singing so she doesn't keep blowing out the mic. Pharita does this sometimes as well.
This is the only chiquita's best performance. In the last evaluation ep, her performances is just normal and has no wow factor. Chiquita solo stan is so toxic. 😂
True and true 😅 Her voice on Bedroom is good but recent evaluations are lot more average even on the pre-debut song Dream. And her solo stans are too aggressive just like Lisa Stans they are started targeting other members as well 🥴
eXcuSe mE i"M a LiSa sTaN hahaha but honestly she's lovable and compared to the other members with years of training of course she doesn't shine as bright but we gotta give it time! Just know I will stand with Ahyeon till I die
I like how your reactions are actually genuine...though I'm not gonna lie I felt hurt with your comments on Rora's performance even though your comments weren't hurtful in any way, it's probs because she's my bias and i'm being biased 😁😁 but keep up the reactions I do enjoy them though!!
Ruka is defintely not technically better, she has more swag for sure when performing but in rapping ability (cadences, flows, pronunciation) asa is better.
@@jaden_38 fair enough. They both need assistance in their pronunciation and they rap in different styles… but I can concede to seeing how you would come to the conclusion that Asa is better “ technically” and hey, in the long run you may be shown to be correct.
In the United States , Chiquita is a fruit brand most known for Bananas. In fact , for 1/3 of my life in the US,if you were to say “Chiquita” to someone they more often than not would say “Banana” in reply.
you're too kind really, I love watching them just as much as everyone else and I hope my channel can grow so we can all talk about the 1 thing we love here HAHAHA THANK YOU KPOP FOR EXISTING
@@currykinglee yea watched it earlier I cried a river happy tears were keep on flowin' but actually most knew that they'd gonna debut as 7 that's how YG plays they pulled that trick on treasure also Hahaha btw love love your reaction the way its unfiltered
Curry king sounds like he knows a lot about curry. But rap, I don't know about that, the sharpness and cadance of Ruka and Asa can not be compared to Aheyon, which is an all-rounder but needs a lot to reach to the other girls swag and technique. Ohh and I know Rora just made you feel that f@#$ you, right?
So fun facts. Asa also rapped Godzilla which is one, if not the fastest rap on earth. Almost all of them, if not all already, can write their own lyrics and songs. So you will be surprised a lot of times to hear some unfamiliar lyrics. Once you hear that, it just means they wrote and added that part. 😉
@@currykinglee Asa also writes a lot of her own lyrics than the rest of the group. You will be able to see that during the evaluations and other intro videos. Thats why the fans likes her because she is also an all rounder just like Ahyeon. Both of them can literally do it all :)
Just be yourself. I enjoy neutral & objective feedback. Those who knows Baemon members will know what they went through, knows their strengths & why they've been chosen by YG. It's ok.
Would like to say that your rating of Chiquita in the cover performances was not at all wrong. She is one of my favorites and when I heard that other piece I could tell something was seriously off. Casual vocal fans would roast me too, but you could tell that the Covid post effect on her was the usual thickening of the vocal folds after vocal chord trauma. While she could sing certain notes well, her transitions from chest to mix to head voice had a cut off quality to them that you would only spot as different if you heard her in all the other videos. Do not be afraid to call it as you see it. She only has had a year and some worth of training compared to the others that have had 4 years, but her growth is quite amazing so far. Please go and watch the Introduction videos, they are a bit long, so maybe just take them one at a time. It shows how they developed from their being scouted until now. Fun watch and you can get to know their characters more.
thanks for this amazing insight woww, I'm just a kpop nerd and I love watching a lot of groups' live performances and even a lot of the times my fav group at the moment IVE don't perform as well on stage and lip sync but I don't hate them or anything I just love seeing the next performance get better and the next!! I do agree that Chiquita has talent and potential but you're right! I'm more drawn to Ahyeon Ruka and Haram because they've been training for so long to "give a performance" Hope you subscribe and join me on this journey I love reading comments like yours!!
Dont say sorry about what you says bcos its your opinion. Its okay i love them all but as a listener & a fan we need to evaluate them also how we see & hear them. But so happy bcos they are going to release their first ever song tomorrow May 14 yay!! 🤗 Its a predebut release..not really their debut song. But im excited.
Hey don’t let people get to you, they are good at this lol they just need to get a life for real i love your previous video so don’t let those sh$t people get to you I’m rooting on you❤ and I’m happy to start the journey with you ❤ stay happy and stay safe ❤
I love this so much thank you for the encouragement, since i'm quite new to this group I can get why people are a little bit annoyed at me aiming at their biases hahaha but I ONLY TELL THE UNBIASED TRUTH (in the moment) thanks for getting on this journey with me!!!
@@currykinglee you're just being honest and that's what I like about you the most. We have different opinions so for me i don't like when people talk like that.
Chiquita is the least time being a trainee she audition around late 2020 to early 2021 we dont know the exact date and year but she is the least time being a trainee
Asa is not the "second" rapper. she literally is the main rapper. She is the best rapper in the group, and if you like to be technical, Ahyeon is the second. Ruka isnt that great. She overperforms and butchers her pronunciations a lot of times.
Some people have the flow but aren't great with languages. It's like asking eminem or drake to rap in spanish (btw there is an AI video somewhere out there of drake singing cupid its hilarious) and Asa is just better at pronounciations than Ruka, Ahyeon's english is a level above the rest so maybe that's why but the "overperforming" part is definitely part of a good rapper's style - it gives them the stage presence when half the people listening don't even listen to a rapper's lyrics! Asa can rap fast that is a fact but in my opinion Ruka is definitely more in tune and can adapt her raps to any beat which is talenttttttt
@@currykinglee (reply to the first sentence)well Asa definitely knows more about languages than Ruka. Her members look up to her cuz of how good she is at speaking Korean despite being Japanese. Watch her introduction video for reference. Btw Ahyeon is not fluent in english, Pharita is. She's the only one who is fluent. Lastly, if you don't listen to raps for its lyrics, then you're definitely not a rap/hiphop listener😂 Literally lyrics and flow come hand in hand in rapping. If you want to compare Asa and Ruka's writing skills, Asa is more experienced. Again, watch her intro vid where she performed the first ever song she has written. Most kpop fans would brag that their favs wrote a verse this or that, but is the content good? is the delivery witty? Again, Asa is better at songwriting. She is regarded by YG and their trainer as the main rapper for a reason. and just to solidify my point, youtube reactors who are hiphop consumers are amazed at Asa's talent. On the other hand, they're underwhelmed by Ruka's. example: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-pTRjqKAhso4.html
fyi ASA was mainly rap from the beginning she join YG and she want to try something different in the last cover (last evaluation) she want to show her another side that she can sing, she so talented like she can compose and write song, she have her own song name diary, she perform that for her monthly evaluation
@@currykingleeyes, and Chiquita is now learning to rap as well. I think YG wants to have 4 rappers. This was mentioned when announcing the final line up of babymonster.
