You're awesome!!! CRNAs are called healthcare's "best kept secret" and that's gotta change! I have a joke for you: Why did the surgeon get into a car accident? Fuc*ing anesthesia. 😂

So many big words haha thank you for explaining everything in simple terms! What if the patient has a complication, how do you safely keep them under anesthesia for longer than anticipated without risking other complications?

So the anesthesiologist (sp?) stays in the room for the entire surgery then??

No they don’t. I’m a CRNA. We are the ones administering the anesthesia in the operating rooms. There are places where Anesthesiologists do their own cases. It really depends on the practice model. Care team approach vs solo practice.
