Taking an injection 5 years ago and the Nurse worried about giving it to me. First easy bruising confusion Dexamethisone-induced adrenal shutdown-induced cushings like syndrome steroid psychoses is a living hell and hard to explain but the loss of friends and family sure was easily enough noticeable but they couldn't explain anything. Dexamethasone locked me in a torture chamber without a key to escape. easy bruising waking in hell-like dark scary places vertigo. all almost 6 years but no full recovery in sight. swelling from poison ivy and a product to help it. Be surprised someday if they put a law out to euthanize people for suffering too much. Considering it would be murder. Dartmouth knew it should not be giving me this injection. Off-topic but the truth needed to be recognized by some.

@r3drift I know what your trying to say? Your probably still suffering from the causes of this evil drug. I sure am and taken the injection 6 years ago suffering still from what it did to my brain receptors . I still wake daily shaking with the ability not even able to make coffee spilling it. 6 years ago I was a very healthy out going person and now it takes strength to even explain simple things when waking and up to hours for my ability to think of what i am doing or living . Dexamethasone also took away my belief in a Soul or religion.

I’m here because I got Dex prescribed right after a tooth extraction… was nervous to take it. Come to find out it’s for the inflammation & pain do to the extraction . I was prescribed 2 pills 4 mg each which is nothing compared to what others are being prescribed. I took those 2 pills just now- like candy. 😅 I have to take one more pill tomorrow after I eat, just like tonight. I just hope it doesn’t mess with my sleep. I need to sleep lol . 💕 Thank you so much for this awesome & such informative video! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

As a multiple myeloma patient, I am taking 40 mg of dexamethosone once a week. I have experienced insomnia, hiccups, and GI issues. Taking this corticosteroid for one and a half years now, since my diagnosis. It's not the most pleasant of meds, but if it gets rid of the cancer, I'll tolerate it.

@@samrafarooq830 However, dexamethasone has a lot of side effects on me. The worst is insomnia - at the beginning, with high dosage, I could not sleep for 40 hours or more. Now that I have a lower dose, I can get 2-4 hours sleep. Also gives me stomach problems, mainly bloating. Recently I notice it eats up magnesium, so I cramp up on my toes or fingers. I have to take Mg supplement to counter.

Cushing's induced and adrenal-induced shutdown and never fully recovering. Left out to suffer and eventually die. @@trafficjon400 If people are inaccurate in their grammar or syntax, I shall not trust their science either. I mean if you don't care about your use of language how can I be sure that you are careful with scientific data? This poor use of English does not stop!. You write "sick ill People" (and why is P in large case??) All "ill" people are by defintion "sick" so why write "sick ill people"?? . The words are "often" not "oftentimes" and "sick" or "ill" and not "sick ill". It is depressing that people not only are losing their grasp of grammar and lexis but get upset when people point that out. If doctors who are native speakers of English cant speak English properly, I dont trust them very much as doctors either, that's the bottom line.
