CHRYSLER 8.25 ". The only weakest axle on the list, very similar to the Dana 35, to use only with factory tires and a maximum of 31 ".
CHRSYLER 9.25 REAR. Semi-floating shaft, considered as strong as a D60, supports 37" tire size.
CHRSYLER 9.25 FRONT. Very similar in strength to the D60, supports 37-38" tire size, there are few lock options for this axle.
DANA 44. Strong and increasingly common, there is a lot of after market support. From factory resists 35" tire size.
DANA 60. The rear axle is strong, cheap, and plentiful in the junkyards. There's a lot aftermarket support, resists 38-39" tire size, had front and rear versions. The D60 front axle is the most sought after for 4x4 adaptations.
