Sad I missed this live, but I'm hoping to have a question answered. Is there a purpose for the brush shape being different between the pigmented Jimmygel's and the clear Jimmygel? I find I have a hard time with the wider fanned brush on my clients
Hello, this is a great question! We have designed the JimmyGel color brushes slightly different from the clear because of the pigment in the colored JimmyGels. During testing, we found that it applied more smoothly and evenly in color with the rounded, softer bristles! For short nail clients, we find using a lot less product than you think initially, will help avoid any flooding or the gel moving too quickly!
I love the Jimmy gel formula.. But, I have to say, that one thing that makes me NOT use it as much as I want, is that it only comes in a bottle. I will choose the Lexy instead a lot of the time. Even if jimmy would be better. Or sorry to say, choose a soak off gel that’s not in a bottle. Because most of my clients has length. And the bottle application takes too long. But for a manicure it is suuuper! The best. ❤ by far. But I really hope that it will come in containers like Lexy too 😉 Pretty pleeeease 🪴❤️
Any chance of ever putting JimmyGel in a pot? I find that it's difficult to control the amount of product on the brush (especially the bigger brushes in the pigmented JimmyGels) and due to the need to keep putting the brush into the bottle to pick up product, air bubbles are often introduced. I noticed you didn't list the Delicate Peach colour?
If you plan to soak off your JimmyGel, then we would suggest using only P+ QDbase and then JimmyGel. (using Tack under QDbase will increase the soak off time). If you plan to fill your JimmyGel with each service and want longer wear, then we suggest Tack and JimmyGel! Hope this helps 😊@@jennifertorres4037
