"All Along the Watchtower" is a song written by Bob Dylan.
However, this song has been covered by Jimi Hendrix. I love Bob Dylan, so I also like his original, but this time we tried to cover it based on Jimi's version.
However, it is a cover that traces the outline, not a complete copy.
My wife sang great vocals.
We filmed this simultaneously with multiple cameras, but all videos were shot in the same way for each instrument part.
In that sense, we are "overdubbing," but we are using a single take rather than merging several takes, so our videos are basically overdubbing of live performances.
However, since I'm not a drummer, I edited only the drums a little later.
By the way, I tried playing the guitar behind my head during the solo for this song, just like Jimi did during his live performance.
This is not a pretend. I actually play it. lol
I used to do Jimi's style of playing when I was younger, but I think it's been about 30 years since I've done it this way. I think it worked.
On the other hand, this may not be so difficult. However, it's a little difficult when you want to move the guitar ``behind your head'' while playing a phrase. I think you need to get used to it.
However, since my guitar wasn't intended to reproduce Jimi's playing, I mixed in phrases similar to Jimi's, but the overall performance feels like it has a bit of Stevie Ray Vaughan mixed in. maybe.
In addition to playing electric guitar, he also plays acoustic guitar, referring to the original studio version.
Percussion is programming. This percussion is played by Brian Jones of the Rolling Stones in the original studio version.
I used a slightly psychedelic image for the background of the video.
I used something I found at pixabay.com/ja/videos/search/.... Thank you to everyone who made this video.
It mainly used videos made by these two people.

However, I thought it would be too flashy if I added it all over the place, so I only add it here and there.
Anyway, we're very happy if you all enjoyed watching this.

Intro
There must be some kind of way outta here
Said the joker to the thief
There's too much confusion
I can't get no relief
Business men, they drink my wine
Plowman dig my earth
None were level on the mind
Nobody up at his word
Hey, hey
Guitar Solo
No reason to get excited
The thief he kindly spoke
There are many here among us
Who feel that life is but a joke
But, uh, but you and I, we've been through that
And this is not our fate
So let us stop talkin' falsely now
The hour's getting late, hey
Guitar Solo
All along the watchtower
Princes kept the view
While all the women came and went
Barefoot servants, too
Outside in the cold distance
A wildcat did growl
Two riders were approaching
And the wind began to howl
Hey,
Oh,yeah
All along the watch tower
Ending Solo
