YES! That is still in 90% of my qustions... The "How Do You Manage" , and you said it right there. BALANCE! Feels like 99 percent, still think we work the hardest. But more balance less work...They think it is more skill and time consuming then there actually is.Knowledge and patience, is always great, but it does not happen without failure and errors. I was the same, years ago...
We did agree on the amazing soil, did we not Mr Pec... But I was full out wrong that you needed more fast growing plants. That start looks like a Sean tank already, the 210. Congratz Man! Amazing fotography as usual... Kind regards
I miss the Pecktec narration! I eagerly watch everything you do and especially love your descriptions of the tanks. I'm looking forward to what you're up to next.
I know and I was about to do it but I got through the first three tanks and it was already getting to be like 30 or 40 minutes long so I decided maybe to do a deep dive on each of the tanks throughout the year and perhaps maybe like one a month and really talk about it instead of trying to talk about it super fast in a short video or reasonably not short video. Thank you so much for stopping by and saying hello. I appreciate it! I’m
Absolutely BRILLIANT video... Yourself, father fish lrb & fishtory are the ONLY channels I watch on keeping fish PROPERLY.. thank you, REALLY THANK YOU 🤝🤝🤝
It sure is a mysterious event about your rainbow fish. That's too bad, so sorry to hear. I had a raphael cat for 9 years. In my research they can live up to 20 years or more. I sold mine to someone who has a 125 gal tank. My tank is 29 and he was getting a bit large. I really did like that fish! His name was Dead Eyes (I'm sure you don't wonder why!). I love all your tanks. Everything is pristine! You keep beautiful spaces. Have a great day and thank you for sharing. Visiting other aquarists is a great idea! Best regards.
wow. what a great video. your whole set-up is so well thought out. no wires and clutter. you guys have great taste,..a nice place,..and nice guitars too.
Thanks so much for stopping by if only I could play those guitars, then I would be fulfilled three years of lessons, and I still can only play ode to joy.
Hi Sean, great to see you and the tanks. Really interested about you mentioning your not using any ferts at min, looking to reduce the amount I use for financial reasons so this makes me think I'll look into it. Loved the music also lol, all the best mate from the U. K.
I always love your tanks. I’m sorta at a similar spot with the hobby. I finally got my tanks looking great and I don’t have room or time for new ones. But, hey… if you ever want to drive up to Lake Superior you can check out my tanks, the public aquarium, and a ton of other outdoor things to do.
Great video as always! I wanted to mention that the fish you called raphael catfish isnt one. I dont know the common name but it is a tatias galaxias. Really similar fish so its common to get them mixed up
Hey Pecktec. I just wanted to mention it. Given the things you've mentioned in the videos this year, i genuinely believe having a conversation with George Farmer would be a helpful and powerful video for you. I think hes been dealing with and focusing on similar things with his enjoyment of the hobby.
Hey pecktec, I am the guy who came up to your table recently to tell you I love your videos. Just wanted to come here and say it again via a comment. Thanks!
Very nice. Can you give us some tips on how you grow your plants? Like how many hours you keep your lights on and since you don’t use floating plants. How do you keep algae to a minimum? Thank you!
He. Looking forward to the next season of footage. Great to see non-CO2 get this far. My non-CO2 is getting there but weekly waterchanges are still in my schedule as I'm trying to keep BBA and/or Staghorn algea under control.
man i have a running list of fish that got eaten by bichirs. shorter list is the ones that have lasted. black skirt tetra, blue gourami, polar blue parrot/convicts, ropefish, and raphael cats all still living peacefully. when the lights come back on, i am always counting fish in that tank to see whats missing. want to try to add some roselines but they're a pricey snack...
That’s a good question. I separated him because he was a little bit different. I bought him as a Siamese algae eater, but I believe this is all either a flying fox or a copper morph of the SAE.
@@nabokovfan87 I had the thought that it was either another species from the same genus Crossocheilus (SAEs and Flying foxes) or a Garra, like the False SAE . The mouth wasn't too obvious from the angle.
