Bedman used to be a man on a bed, but right now its just Bed, thats why the question mark is there, the name is Bedman? like where the man on the bed, no, just Bed now, hence the question mark
In a game with super moves that make nuclear explosions it's hilarious to me that one of the most painful looking ones is just a guy "accidentally" crashing a wheelchair into your shin.
I know absolutely NOTHING about this franchise. Why is paperbag-head guy so desperate to get the four-leaf clover? And why does he forget about it immediately after?
Faust gets too excited over the four leaf clover and knocks his opponent over. Being a doctor he rushes over to put them in a wheelchair and, in the process, disintegrates their shins 😊
Faust was originally a normal doctor but become crazy and killed a lot of people, however, he would soon regain his senses and started helping again. As you can see in Strive, he is in a very bad state, but still tries to help others.
Being disabled and having to move around in a wheelchair, i can't help but always be reminded of this when my girlfriend accidentally bumps onto someone's ankles while pushing me.
@ahoodedfigure well she still coulda had an alt expression where she enjoys it. Not to mention one of her lines when defeated was , "i could get used to this" in a rather seductive manner.
Reasonable wake up animations: Millia 0:32, Johnny 1:41, Elphelt 1:53, I-no (surprising) 2:28, May 2:50, Ky (unsurprising) 3:01, Potemkin 3:12, Asuka 4:08, Anji 4:53, Axl 5:15. Sol jumps over his head. 0:09 Props to Chipp for being humanly possible. 0:20 Giovanna is also humanly possible. 3:34 So is Leo. 5:04 Nago defies gravity. 0:43 So does Ram. 3:23 So does ABA. 4:19 So does Faust. 5:26 Jack-O does it backwards, somehow. 1:07 Testament wakes up chest forward for some reason. 1:30 I don't know how beds are supposed to wake up, but the mere notion is unreasonable. 2:04 Happy Chaos is dead, long live Happy Chaos! 2:16 Zato is being Zato. 2:39 Goldlewis teleports. 3:46 So does Baiken. 4:42 Bridget is cute, but unreasonable. 3:57 Sin does a whole somersault or whatever. 4:31
This is why we love Dr. Faust. Bro is so simple and wholesome that even after he accidentally knocks you over, his first priority is to ensure your safety...even if he does crush all the bones in your shin in the process.
This is painful because this is the most relatable pain we know. Hitting your shin against something metal at a fast speed is real actual pain that we all go through, otherwise we wouldn't be wary about it in the first place. The initial pain, the way your body feels paralyzed immediately, and the bruising afterwards, the days and days of the pain remaining. Sort of how like one of the more painful submissions we know of is the ankle lock, because we've all sprained our ankles, and we all know how that feels.
Okay, now I REALLY need to get this game. It'd be my first game (and in my opinion I kinda suck at fighting games... the only other one I play is Persona 4 Arena Ultimax but only because I play Persona) and the art and music seems cool to me.
For anyone wondering the completely unique interaction ones are, Elphelt, Asuka, Happy chaos, Baiken, Sin, Faust, Bridget, Goldlewis, Jack O, and bedman
I kinda miss his finger insert of doom but this is great. Also kinda miss his lab coat tho. And is Bridgette officially a boy or girl now? Or still unknown?
Bridget is confirmed to be a trans woman. Some people choose to ignore it, cause "trans people bad 😡" but Daisuke Ishiwatari, the creator of Guilty Gear, confirmed Bridget is trans, and that's all the confirmation needed
@@hairlessgrizzly559The reason why they’re against it is because he was forced to conform to his people’s traditions for a long time. Their traditions involved that twin boys were considered a bad omen, and so was forced to dress like a girl. Originally, he just dressed that way because he wanted to in the good ending and actively rejected that tradition. In the bad ending, he was mentally abused to the point where he’s forced to call himself a girl and just accepts it. These people who make the excuse of “Hey, she’s happy about it, deal with it” are idiots. Yeah, you’d be forced to smile too if you were abused to where your spirit broke and forced to accept the label forced upon you. The whole situation is like advocating for abuse, and that’s why Guilty Gear fans who understood the lore of the franchise were mad about this. Daisuke essentially made Bridget’s bad ending the canonical one and the trans activists are treating it like a good thing without looking into it.
@@noahwilson3809 damn that's unfortunate Daisuke said she's trans, therefore she is 🏳️⚧️🏳️⚧️🏳️⚧️🏳️⚧️🏳️⚧️ Those "true fans" can go cope and seethe lmao
@@hairlessgrizzly559They were upset because in Bridget’s original lore, he was forced to dress and like a girl and was mentally and emotionally tortured into following his village’s traditions. In the good ending, Bridget just decided to dress like a girl because he wanted to. The bad ending is Bridget being mentally broken and just decided to take on the identity of a girl altogether. The activists advocate this as a good thing because “She’s happy about it.” Yeah, you’d be “happy” too if your tormentors broke your spirit and forced you to accept their worldview.
The design of the character is "randomness" true randomness, so one of his move is him finding a 4 leaf clover and knoking over their opponents for it because why not?
So Faust (the doctor with the bag head here) is a little crazy. A little insane. Just a teensy bit. He notices a 4 leaf clover, and gets excited about it, rushing for it and knocking the opponent down. However, he notices the downed person a few seconds later, and because he's a doctor, he goes to rush them in a wheelchair. In the process of doing so, he straight up shatters their shin, which is what every character is reacting to.
