Nice to see you back and smiling you've been missed, now sit back and relax together and fully recover then treat yourselves to a special trip with or without the caravan. Thanks for sharing your story and we'll done for being so brave and positive, all the best and take care both of you.
Thank you Nigel. It’s certainly been a tough time. I still feel “broken” both physically and mentally but plenty of rest and healing should help over time. We have booked a trip for the last week of March so we have something to look forward to.
I am so pleased to hear you are cancer free. You have been on a very difficult journey and now you are on the road to recovery. Sending hugs. Take care Gill
This year, I'm a 10 years and 9 years cancer survivor (womb cancer first then 9 months later diagnosed with breast cancer) and I'm so sorry to hear about the failings of the NHS. Wishing you all the best for your recovery ❤ .......onwards and upwards🙂 and enjoy your vanlife adventures in your new van 👍
I have come to realise it’s a constant companion!!! Had a bit of bad news at meeting with surgeon this week. TBH I knew that I was likely to be prone to getting more growths in the future but not this soon!! Luckily the excitement of the new van has helped keep my mind off things 😀
As we say here in the Southern US, bless your heart! ❤️. As a 32 yr cancer survivor myself, I’d like to say I’m sorry you had such negative experiences (NHS post op care) during an already super-trying time. I wish you continued good health.
We are so relieved that you have been given the good news you deserve. We wish you a speedy recovery and are able to build up your strength to get out and about in your caravan. Love to you and Pete from us both 💕 Trev n Sue
Thank you for your support through this. I am just trying to get my walking back on track. Once I’m in less discomfort there’s going to be no stopping me 😜
Great news Karen, thank you so much for putting yourself in the spotlight I am sure your bravery will help others to act on any concerns they have. Keep well Hx
That is brilliant news Kaz. I can’t begin to imagine what you went through however, it’s such good news. Hopefully, you will start to recover now and get some rest and relaxation. We wish you a speedy recovery. ATB Sue, Brian and The Westies👍🐶🐾🐾🐾😀🏴💐
Oh my, you’ve been through the mill! But here you are, you’ve come through the other side😎 Such great news for you both 😁 Look after each other, it’s been a stressful time, but onwards and upwards! Made up for you. x
So glad to hear! Thank you for being willing and brave to share your experience. I hope you are able to rest more freely now. Get good sleep and laugh as often as you can.
Hello pretty lady from Ohio. So glad to hear your good news. I just had 2 biopsies done in that area. I cannot imagine the pain you went thru. I'm OK and you will be too. I had cancer in 1992 and have been well ever since. God bless you.
I’m glad your biopsies were clear. I don’t think I will ever stop worrying about it coming back but I am certainly very grateful for the all clear right now.
This is fantastic news Karen, so very happy for you. You have been so very brave through all of this. Take care of yourself hope you can have a break away you both deserve it xxx
I have a daughter in her 30’s who have a lesion on her vulva, was lead to believe it was nothing but was removed, in less than a week was called back for results to find it was precancerous. Fortunately all seems to be ok and she is being monitored, but it did make her join BUPA health care from work. She had a well women check that found a lump in her breast, the next day she was seeing a consultant at a private hospital fortunately it was a cyst which nothing was done about. She was shown were it was and how to detect it. Time went on and she felt it had become bigger fortunately her GP looked at her notes and referred her to the breast clinic were she had it drained. So hopefully all good. We have to put our faith in our doctors and remember to check our bodies. Wishing you well and a speedy recovery so as you can enjoy being away and living your life.
Thank you Jane. It can all be so daunting. I think not being afraid of asking questions and challenging thing if you don’t think it’s right are very important. I hope your daughter is well now x
Just watching more of your journey, you are such an amazing person and I wish you well. Hopefully one day we may meet through caravanning, motorhoming etc. We have always camped just going into caravanning. Have done lots of research we had ordered a new caravan which we loved, got cold feet due to conflicting information about what our car could manage, so cancelled husband going to do a towing course then buy 2nd hand lightweight van and go from there. It’s just such a minefield or am I being over cautious. 😂
@@janewarburton8884 Thank you for your kind words 🙏. With regards to moving from camping to a caravanning we literally released w video on it yesterday!!! We would always recommend buying a second hand caravan first (even if you only use it for 6 months or a year you will get your money back on it)! Secondly and probably most importantly - try out as many different layouts as you can at your local dealers. Layout is sooo important. If you need any advice on what your vehicle is able to tow then Pete would be happy to advise. His email address is pete@craftycaravanners.com 👍🏻😊
