I have a feeling that Dixie is a young ape while Diddy is a young monkey, because just like DK, Cranky, and Funky, they don’t that the same tails as Diddy.

I now know the Name's of each Boss: *The Seal is called Pompy, the Presumptuous *The Owl is not called Coo, he's called Skowl, the Startling *The Albino Macaque is called Ba-Boom, the Boisterous *The Blowfish (not quite a Pufftup or a Porcupuffer) is called Fugu, the Frightening *The Polar Bear is called Bashmaster, the Unbreakable *The Leader of the Snowmad's is called Lord Fredrik, the Snowmad King Quite some name's there I must say.
Dk needs a Tv show with this style of humor. I know Dk already had one but i mean one for the new generation but no cringey forms of references to what the new generation calls cool. Just this kind of humor

I mean well it kinda makes sense, take Luke and Yoda from star wars for example, Yoda rode on Luke's back to double for Luke's training and Yoda's travel. Its like having a younger adult strolling an older person in a wheelchair around.
Poor Bashmaster... All that he wanted was the popsicle and to laze about on the iceburg, of course being one of the Snowmads he was still the enemy but he was perfectly content with his life until the Kongs knocked his treat away. It's ironic one of the most threatening looking of the Snowmads was also the one who didn't pick a fight with the Kongs until they (accidentally) provoked him.
I felt the same way. This is my favorite boss cutscene. The music fits it perfectly. The first time I saw it, I cracked up, but I also felt kind of bad for the bear. Then, after an insanely long battle with may deaths, I didn't feel bad when DK punched him in the face 23 times.
If anybody is having trouble with the video, change the quality to 240p, then change it back to any quality you'd like. +1 this comment so others can see this.
He was replaced by this generic crap. The gameplay looks pretty solid and reminiscent of the classics, but the story is what keeps me from buying. Thank God for RU-vid. I will buy this when it's $20 or less (don't care if that's 5+ years from now lol).
Bela Sziklassy how sad is it that you won't be able to enjoy this game like everyone does because you care more for the story than the actual gameplay in a DK game. lololol
JunDageki you're going to have to explain to me how me wanting to wait for the game to go down in price translates for it being sad that I will not enjoy it. Games that sell well go down fast, especially in the used game market. Nothing wrong with saving some money. Obviousyly was joking about waiting five years. Maybe that was missed? I'd rather spend my $60 on a game that is going to have a bit more replay value AND/OR immerse me in its stories. And yes, I care for the story in a DK game, because as of late I feel that Nintendo has been resting on their laurels and just making more of the same. Nintendo was never REALLY about the story, but have become even less so today. They cash in on their IPs. That's disappointing to me. My opinion, that's all.
Rafael Bastos He, actually. And no, you would already be wrong because I HAVE purchased many DK games that K Rool didn't appear in. I watched these cutscenes and was disappointed. They tossed in some generic baddies and didn't even give them a reason to be there. I respect your, and other;s opinions. I am able to do that without making assumptions and name calling. Sadly, there are those out there who cannot handle that.

M Dandridge I would love that especially for Dixie. She deserves to be in Smash, not just for her potential move set, but she would also add some amazing songs to the DK soundtrack.
I still wonder why that pengiun flipped out when it read KONG... I mean I assume they were just conquering islands, or where they out for the kong island specifically ?
HeroG9000 The K. Rool thing's my headcanon too. In fact, I imagine he asked the Snowmads to check on DK Isle and see if the Tiki Tak Tribe fully conquered it. If they didn't, K. Rool's Plan B would be to have the Snowmads conquer it instead. When that Tucks saw the island not overrun with Tikis and DK's treehouse still standing, he rushed to tell Lord Frederick to go ahead with freezing the place. I'm betting if there's a third game, K. Rool will get fed up with having other tribes do his work and failing at it, so he and the Kremlings will finally just do it themselves. Pretty slim possibility that's 100% true, but I can dream can't I?
Donkey Kong is known as the King of the Jungle in the DK Universe. Also, his record is renowned espicially after besting King K. Rool, Tikis, and the conquering the kingdoms in DK Jungle Beat. So a surprise attack window would have been a good reason to freaking out over. Get rid of the King of the Jungle, or relay that message to your leader, you take his place and/get a huge piece of the left-behind treasury.
I'm gonna say, the reason why the Tuck flipped out is because he realized that there could be adversaries on the island, and so Lord Fredrik decided to go, "fuck it, let's freeze it, we're taking over this one too." It's also possible that the Tuck realized what adversaries they were going up against. Like they saw "KONG" and went, "oh shit, the Kongs, they're serious business, taking out the Kremlings and the Tiki Taks". Either way, the Snowmads probably just decided to blow away whoever was on the island and then seize it, hoping that would fix it, not expecting any of them to return.
***** Ever heard of Albino Macaque's, or whatever they are. Think it's actually that, and they live in the Himalayas. I'm sure I've heard of some sort of Monkey like that living in the Himalayas.
Why is Dixie on guitar and not Diddy? Are we just supposed to forget that one of Diddy's special abilities in DK 64 was rocking the fuck out on his guitar? Diddy should be on guitar, and Dixie should be on drums.
Haha it's hard to top the polar bear: and I suppose after so many epic final bosses, a big oaf seems anticlimactic. Would've been cool to see some sort of ariel ice dragon added battle (or a more lead up stage which took more advantage of the ENORMOUS Viking ship). Another GREAT final boss animal choice could have been a Yeti: a big, white dead ring to Donkey Kong!
i couldnt agree more! that snowmad final boss was so god dang dissapointing! i mean for gods sake the final boss isnt even all that bigger than the other bosses and he doesnt even do much with the ice horn outside of summoning ice birds and giant ice balls! and it also lasts a little bit too long which isnt too big of a problem but its still a problem none the less! "sigh"..........anyways what you came up with is awesome though i do hope it uses the ice horn better than that dang walrus.
