Deviljho has 4 unique turf war animations, some new attacks using small or weaker monsters, and a menacing appetite for blood.
The unique turf wars are:
Deviljho vs Diablos
Deviljho vs Legiana
Deviljho vs Bazelgeuse
Deviljho vs Rathalos
I sort of wish Deviljho could appear alongside Elder Dragons. I'd love to see Deviljho vs Vaal Hazak.

It's more like Deviljho's legs gave out as he was trying to throw Diablos. The Tyrant of the Desert is not only huge, but even heavier than it looks.

Hell considering something like savage jho is just a walking dragon element nuclear reactor i wouldn't be surprised if a long fight with one ends up being a death sentence for pretty much every elder except for the black dragons and continent shapers likes zorah, safi and dalamur

It’s officially called “desperation.” Once Jho has you by the throat, your almost as good as screwed unless you’ve got god on your side or, in Gooses case, inbuilt defense mechanisms that let you explode like a fucking bomb without dying.

Deviljhos sheer strength is amazing he doesn’t use any fancy tricks just muscle and his durability is out of this world and I know he isn’t the “strongest” but is still one of the strongest and his rage state is well... think of it as absorbing damage and letting it all out and agility wise I don’t know a lot about but I’m pretty sure it’s amazing too and the dragon element i think either does damage or weaken I don’t know

I was fishing in the Ancient Forest, beside the beach where Kestodon spawns. A Deviljho randomly spawned (didn't show up on map) so I didn't know. He just threw a Great Jagras at me and then started eating me.

Same here. Because anjanath and deviljho are t-rex look like, and somehow i find it more intimidating than monster in dragon/wyvern form. Seeing anjanath from afar slowly walking through the forest still give me chill to this day

That's probably not far off. Deviljho may not have a large bite force - at least one enough to penetrate the thick shell of a Daimyo Hermitaur. But it would be more likely that Jho would give up after a few attempts in order to save precious energy.

twiggy5000 you see, that the king of sky's and the Living elegance(or how legi is called) dodging his breath and attacking the wounds of jho. In normal circumstances this would be enough to kill everything. But Jho doesn't matter any wounds and scratches, because his eternal hunger disrupts his senses probably. Both trying or doing a smart move, but Getting The Jaws of an unnormal strong beast. Odogaron on the other Hand, sits their screams for help while Knoewing his death, that he can avoid easily!

That would be an interesting fight considering we've seen Nergigante take down the other Elder Dragons in the game while we've seen the Deviljho take out all the Apex Predators.

The problem with that, Nergigante fights DYING elder dragons, so they're not at peak power, or peak strength. If he were to fight one that WASN'T dying, he'd get his ass fucked hard. Deviljho isn't a dying monster, and is considered one of the strongest MH monsters to date. Nergigante would definitely be hard pressed, but the thorns would save his life in that fight, resulting in his win.

Neptune I don't know, Kushala and Teostra didn't seem to be dying to me and in the turf wars Nergigante has with them he seems to come out on top both times.

Nergigantes thorns are not only protection from other elder dragons teeth and claws but it also acts as a nullifier to every Element not to mention physically hes stronger then any besides gigantic elder dragons and easily one of the fastest land elder dragons! Hes literally a monster elder Dragon lore wise and the game doesnt do him justice.

At least the Leigana and the Rathalos got a hit in, Diablos and Odogaron didn't even get a hit in. The Bazel fight I think his explosives saved his ass, so Deviljho can't stay on him for long. The interesting thing I would like to see is if the Deviljho can fight the Elder Dragons, especially Nergigante.

Doubt it. Deviljhos will do ANYTHING to eat their meals and they are pretty used to fighting for their food. I mean look at the scars on their bodies when they get enraged and swell up their muscles.

Did the hunt both a Legiana and a Odagoron wingdrake brought me to Legiana immediately so I immediately knew either a Deviljho or a Bazelgeuse was around after killing Legiana I went looking for Odagoron and just as the fight started Deviljho comes running in and manhadles Odagoron lmao Deviljho only let him go when I mounted him Odagoron was at half health already befroe Ieven fought him proparly lol

And deviljho is living up to his name, odagaron is good, but against something whos lore suggests he even eats elderdragons, skinless doggo doesnt really stand much of a chance against a literal walking stomach. He might give deviljho a scar or 2 in, but deviljhos hide is designed to take the hits as his power even damages his own body and heals again at increased rates. Hes earnt his name.

Matrixthehedgehog9 Do not underestimate the deviljho, it's a monster whose body is full of scars, the simple fact that it faces monsters twice as big as him. He perceives all creatures as a potential source of food and even the ancient dragons. He will not hesitate to attack them for the sole purpose of devouring them.
