A Deviljho once chased me around the Coral Highlands for a good five minutes with my target Odogaron in its mouth trying to hit me with it.

My first experience with a Deviljho made me fear it for a long time. I was still doing the mhw campaign (my first mh game) and my friend had suggested I go for the sin and crime duel blades, so we started farming Odogaron. We were in the middle of killing one when I picked up some Deviljho tracks, thought nothing of it until one came walking down towards us. It was my first time seeing one and I was terrified and my friend was too so we ran away until the Deviljho walked off; however, instead of walking on the Deviljho looked at the Odogaron we were fighting and picked it up in its mouth. My friend and I were far enough away that it didn’t agro on to us so it just stood there, staring at us as the Odogaron was thrashing helpless in its mouth. We waited 10 minutes of that fight just watching it as it kept staring at us before it dropped the Odogaron and walked off. Been scared ever since

I like how deviljho has taken the crocodile approach to eating and just slamming the life out of whatever its mouth grabs on to as opposed to just chewing

I just really like how Great Jagras is just happy to be included.

Old jho was like running into a room and finding a T-rex. New Jho was like running around a corner and finding Godzilla.

Old Jho: I could stand. New Jho: Worst Nightmare come to life, Suicide mission, Hunters asking for death. Edit: Savage Jho: He's either your worst enemy or valuable ally agaisnt other monsters. Example: Rajang: These two get into a turf war more than once. If you get Savage Jho to follow you while hunting Rajang, Jho can cause some damage to Rajang by just hitting him. Make sure you're out of the way when that happens.

Honestly best part of worlds for me was how it felt more alive. Loved how monsters attacked each other. And honestly, rise is also looking freaking awesome!

Old: kinda dangerous but cute New: Will. Eat. Your. Soul. For breakfast.

That last part is super relatable. Near the end of the base game I went on an investigation of a bazelgeuse and the deviljho beat its ass so bad all i had to do was use a shock trap and one tranq

Jho eating it’s own tail would actually be a really funny mechanic and would be another middle finger from the giant pickle

Old: Threatening due to invasions in other hunts being more dangerous in older load-zone games. Moderate on single-hunt missions. New: Pain. Can be extremely helpful in turf wars tho.

1:22 I think Jho knows he can grow his tail back because he is a reptile. I think he likes chewing his tail when he was a baby. He will eventually grow his tail, he is just eating because he is hungry.

最近になってMHW始めてついにイビルジョーに遭遇したけど、あいつやばすぎる MHW遊ぶ前にこの動画みていてめっちゃ笑ってたけどマジでそのまんまやった.... I recently started MHW and finally encountered him, and he's really dangerous... I have often watched this video before playing MHW and laughed so hard, thank you NCHProductions!

Scary to think somewhere in the monster hunter universe a 140 king sized apex hyper tempered savage deviljo is out there. Worse to think that some hunter is going speed run it in under 2 minutes while you run out of time.

oh and here's another tip, using flash bombs are also an effective way of "Disarming" new jho if he has a monster in his mouth

i will always remember when i was just doing an expedition in coral highlands in world on my 2nd hunter when suddenly i just hear everything go silent, hear footsteps behind me and i just run to hide in one of thoose small mini tunnel things (next to where tzuyu goes to sleep) and him just staring in there for a good 3-5 minutes and im just crawling there thinking "go away, there is an odogaron you can chew on around the corner"

coming back to this video i love the fact that monster hunter rise had monster weapon armor layers and i believe nargacuga actually was a longsword armor layer to use but i think it was DLC.
