Good reaction but you're missing: - Digimon 2020 opening -Digimon ghost game opening Anyways looking for a Digimon Adventure first season evolutions reaction in Japanese
The anime term you were thinking of where you get transported to another word is Isekai, and Digimon was one of the first to do it, where if you die there you die in real life, it wasn't common at the time.
Ohh boy. I knew people were going to love this. 3:44 It's called Isekai bro Personally, I think the first OP is one of the best openings in anime. It had power, and a tune that makes your skin have goosebumps, vocals also is good, I loved the riffs.
@@dashingkevs3295 with Dragonball, they powercrept It was too much. Digimon does world Level threats "occasionally", but keep It more realistic, usually.
More like 1500+ Digimon. Also, it's not dead. We've got and will get more reading material (webcomics, web-mangas, webnovels) and there are games in the making. The latest game was from 2022 called Digimon Survive which is a visual novel that includes tactical rpg elements. And let's not forget the tcg. There's been a new merchandise drop recently too. Also there's events like Digimon Con (a livestream event), DigiFes (a physical event), tcg tournaments, etc. And Digimon Ghost game was the 9th series that ran from 2022 to 2023
Tho I have to say many of us are not satisfied with how Bandai basically goes into a reading arc, that there's china exclusive stuff from mobile games to merch, that merch can sometimes be hard to get outside of Japan, that they work on the new Digimon Story game since 2017 without having given us anything visual/more info,...etc.
Hello, it was a great reaction. I'm a fan of Digimon Savers, it's my favorite. By the way, it's missing: Digimon Universe Opening 2, Digimon Adventure 2020 and Digimon Ghost Game
digimon series 1 and digimon tri 1 are the same character . they growth and more intense of battle . and there song are memorable. soon will be release of. digimon tri zero two. are same character of the series digimon zero two.
Digimon is different than pokemon in a lot of ways especially given that it actually does things that pokemon would not dare to do. It was a series that is often called a growing up series which you can see the aging of the characters unlike pokemon where ash never really changes. There is currently thousands of digimon including variants and is still ongoing to this day. Given it was a show that was meant to age with its audiences it never got the overall appeal pokemon has due to pokemon being a series aimed more for the younger demographic. That said when it comes to the show it also never keeps to the same characters either. While the gen one gang is highlighted more it was not afraid to temporarily scrap them for a new cast and story. Also you are close, that one digimon in frountiers is kenogarurumon not metal garurumon.
Beso, Yeah I think on of the appeals of pokemon was trainers used multiple mons while digimon trainers often just used one. The repetition gets old after a while
@@dashingkevs3295 oddly enough pokemon is far more repetitious than digimon is. While only having only one partner the simple fact they go through more characters and do not have the same gym and region set up makes it feel more fresh than pokemon could ever hope to be. Sad that pokemon rarely goes outside of that box.
Beso, I think when it comes to shows there is a "what" and a "how". I'm more often than not more interested in the how than the what. Like for Pokémon the "what" is the whole travel to different mono type gyms and collect badges. The how is the choreography that goes into the battle, what moves were used, did a mon evolve, was the terrain used to one's benefit.
Digimon It's great, I recommend watching it, I recommend it in Japanese because at least in the dubbing in my country, there were censorships and errors in speech.
Savers was so good, much more of a mature series, though not that digimon was ever not mature or had it's edgy moments, Tamers itself was pretty dark with the writer even being responsible for the likes of serial experiment lain, Recently the games have def taken on a much more mature audience and they also of course made some sequels too the original series and even 02 got a new movie which are taken more mature direction from the original because unlike pokemon digimon decided to grow with it's audience for the most part, Even Ghost Game which does have a younger cast is a much more darker series with really cool monster of the week stuff mixed with horror elements. i didn't like how it ended but i did enjoy the journey of Ghost Game.
Savers is my top 1, Digimon adventure/adventure 02/tri kinda love those too, though I am not a big fan of the remake there have make of adventure. Well, remake... or just take everything out and start a new think with the same character and forgot to put a story in the line. lol Digimon is still going, there still make game/serie, that just like the serie go more mature over time, the game fallow it too... I remember that Digimon Survive game that came out in 2022... were you can get some people of your team kill if you take the wrong path/did't do something before some point in the story... or you just did't make a New Game+ so you sure to get some kid of your team kill in awful way... yeah we are far from Pokemon game story... x'D
Watching digimon in original language with subtitles or a well done adaptation is acceptable. Im sorry but the US version totally butchered the series by changing not only the whole soundtrack but changing the dialogs for chessy comments are and ruining all the drama in scenes where it was needed.
@@dashingkevs3295 maybe but it happens in real life so why shield kids from things that regularly happen to them. Whats more the series help alof of children to overcome their problems. The show have good values. I would say the show is targeted for older audicences I mean pre teens or teens but even adults can watch it there is always something to learn.
