All Elijah Craig Barrel Proof 2023 BLIND - A123, B523, C923 

A123 - pretty much has everything you could ever want from ECBP except remove the cherry note that typically hangs out in the background of a great ECBP. B523 - basically all I get is heat and caramel. No brown sugar, no fruit, no jam. Just extremely bland and one note C923 - mouth coating with layers of flavor. Very fruit forward (which is slightly off profile) with a rich toffee and brown sugar note to round out the primary notes. I also get raspberry jam and dark chocolate underneath the fruity brown sugar toffee. It’s an absolute monster and I couldn’t recommend it more

I think the b523 was really good and the a123 was so good I bought a backup and I’m waiting to get the c923

I have not really liked any EC's, Private Barrels, BP, whatever, until C923. It's a banger. It is really great.

I had never had an ECBP before and picked up the A123 a few weeks ago. I like it and glad I went with this one first to break me in. Of course I still love my Larceny C922 more. Cheers 🥃

I opened ecbp c923 and larceny c923... Elijah is big bold and full of flavor really good drink not for the meek. Larceny was like sweet jam after elijah. Both good releases.

I kinda think they did B523 at 11 years was so they could just put a lot of bottles in the market.

Interesting, two other sites had A123 first, never seen B523 anything but last. Viva la differance!

Great review Trev! And as expected. Very happy they put out a good pre-2021 throwback batch in C923. I really thought they were done putting out good batches. Enjoy while you can everybody, cause they’ll go right back to mediocrity for several more years again.
