I just wanted to let you know, when you dye these. The Inner glow's color gets altered. So a very unique customization option, making them even better than they already are.
@@vampr20ranger the +## is your aetherpool level in the instance, you need a certain amount of aetherpool to make a grip, grips are then traded in to use the weapons themselves outside of Eureka Orthos. Aetherpool has no relevance outside of the dungeon itself other than if you want t o convert some of it into a grip. However, if you wish to tackle the higher floors, its best to not make aetherpool grips, as you would need to farm aetherpool levels again to take on 31 - 100.
They're neat, but at least in my eyes, not nearly as eye catching as the POTD or HOH weapons, these look like they could just as easily be tomestone weapons.
@@turntapeover5749 i actually liked hoh weapons though can't see me using them in glamours because it's hard to match with anything (unless you're a typical ffxiv limsa lominsa enthusiast that just uses an ultimate weapon on top of a modern glamour set), but they're still rather cool, the orange shade is neat and their models are pretty nice as well
Is the butt of the Partisan long enough to touch the ground when female dragoons are in idle stance or vpose? The elemental lance from Eureka was gorgeous but it was too short and looked weird when they stood still
The Allagan sets are a drastically different aesthetic and don't match at all. Even the old Alexander raid weapons suit the late Allag outfits better than these do.
i feel like people will say it's "ugly", "bad" and etc simply because it doesn't have that overexcessive glow most of the "coolest rarest epicest" weapons in the game do if it doesn't look like an ultimate weapon or anything like last stage relics from any expansion then it is automatically not good, generic, disappointing, lame, etc i like how they changed the pace by making these have actually distinguishable models with actually visible design details besides just "a glow with this color as its main that has some mild undertones of some other color in it", keep it up, enix at least you can actually match them with something unlike padjali weapons and properly dye them excited to see more weapons like these that people will equip because they actually look good instead of them simply being glowy and show-offy enough to not care if it even matches with the rest of their outfit
@@GoatOfWar and? let there be some variety in job weapons. if a DRK wants to use a surf board as a weapon, let him. are you going to be the one to tell him he cant? sounds like a good way to get whacked by a surf board.
@@trial_with_an_error9687 I love this game and I am obsessed Canopus lux for my astrologian so I keep giving them chances but I never liked any other weapon since then! Every month is always disappointing. Nothing has never wowed me since!
These and the upgraded version actually seem to go with the False Monarchy set from PVP which is nice, since no weapons in the game really suited that armor before.
@@ladyrhea444 Sell 30/30 aetherpool to get aether grips for the Padjali wpn, and the sell 60/60 and turn over the Padjali wpn for the Kinna upgrade. Also we dont know yet if these are gonna get an upgrade or not. The PotD ones got the upgrade 1 patch or 2 later. HoH didnt get any. These...probably wont but the glow is dyable. So theres that going for them.
These are very weak visually compared to the Padjali/ Kinna and the Empyrean weapons imo. Not to mention these are going to be harder to work for, making it a much harder sell for very little payoff. Think I'm just gonna' stick with PotD/ HoH unfortunately.
Aside from glam, there isn't much point when Manderville weapons are handed out like party favors (ie: for 1500 Tomestones of Easymode [Astronomy on current patch 6.38, Causality for 6.4+]).
Glow wise perhaps, but at least these are original models, and dyeable. The old ones were all re-used. First time Allagan weapons for ShB and EW jobs as well.
