Joe did an excellent job with his press conference. The White House staff clearly gave Joe some energy drinks and they brought in a make up artist so that Joe did not look white and pasty. We did know that Joe’s mental acuity began to slip as the press conference wore on and as the energy drinks began to wear off. Anyway, you know the thing, Joe did very well early on.

I dont think using the argument that "no president has won with a 37" approval rating" is a very good argument in this case because they both have low approval ratings. Historically we have not had 2 canditates with such low approval ratings. Right now Joes approval rating only has to move in the right direction by a few percentage points to be ahead of Trump. the fact no reporter mentioned during their questions, not even the one that mentioned his lapsus on putin, that he also made a lapsus on harris-trump, shows the questions were pre agreed, prerehearsed, and scripted. In spite of that, his performance was much better. I suppose his medication is working for tonight, but the decline will continue. This is very sad. I wished I was not so convinced of the direction it is going towards.
