All eyes on Potential Tropical Cyclone 6 

Still not a tropical depression, but we'll talk about it. It's bad enough that you're giving it a number when we only numbered tropical depressions in the past. Making the season seem worse that it is. How can it have sustained winds of 50 mph, well in excess of tropical-storm force, and not be named? Guessing there is no central circulation. Are we going to start measuring thunderstorms, too? That's basically what this is at this juncture. I still don't really see this becoming much given proximity to land, lack of deeper water (it is warm, though), and the fact that a front has been stalled of there for the better part of a week which tends to cool the waters. Maybe I'm wrong. Then again, I'm not in the business of p1mping sensationalism. Regarding the other storms, they already look to be too far north to be much threat.
