I am still of the opinion that they could have made the Italians a full faction, especially because there isn't much of a focus on heavy tanks in CoH3. Additionally if they lacked any sort of units they could have just made them the late war German puppet and filled in those voids with German equipment. Also Bersaglieri look lit.
The terrain destruction is a bit of a downgrade compared to coh2 where the ground really deformed to the point that craters literally become a size like pond.
@@mccheesy9117 Not really look at the building destruction and the model animations. Stop being a purely negative nancy. Almost all the textures and models ARE way ahead of coh2 and coh. YOU CAN ZOOM IN AND SEE IT! BUT i agree with you that when you are not zoomed it it looks cartoonish and wired af? It must be something with the camera position or lens or lighting. Like something is messing the amazing models up when you zoom out! As for the craters yeh i dont know why they went with that 2D direction coh2 has much better explosions and craters in general that is something to improve on. So far tho coh3 is way ahead in terms of actual gameplay and fun. SO I don't mind the graphics at all. Since i also know it is not that big a problem after actually zooming in on the units and models!
@@mccheesy9117 to be fair. Coh 1 and coh 2 also looked cartoonish... Even idle animation of vehicles... When you compare it to men of war it's obvious. I would say being cartoon ish is the style of franchise that set it apart in some way.
Hope they will learn from their previous mistakes, and abandon their habit to make everything "DLC". If they make battlegroups like commanders that needed to be purchased, it will be a disaster for the game.
They will totally charge for new commanders. It’s a SEGA company they got to get some microtransaction from somewhere. But I will say that buying a Battlegroup that has choices and more overall abilities won’t feel as bad as buying coh 2 commanders with 5 abilities

God that M4A1 76 looks terrible, the turret is out of scale and shaped weird, the barrel is way too overscaled(same for a lot of tanks in the game, look at the Hellcat, it should have the same 76mm gun, but it looks like they mounted a 90mm on it), it shouldn't have a muzzlebreak, and it didn't even exist at this point of the war, especially not in Italy. Also why are these Shermans cross eyed...? The periscopes are both pointing inwards?
At first, I was hyped for the 3rd installation of the game but when I find out from a couple of gameplay on youtube I was a little bit disappointed because somehow they reduced some gameplay animation for better graphics. But let's see in the official released, either way, I found my all new favorite RTS title "Broken Arrow" so disappointed or not i'm not gonna care at all though i will still play the genre.

i would've put all factions as well. It should be game changer better than coh2 and any rts out there. Gaming companies now days more think how do we milk playerbase by spending less effort and resource to a game. I still find coh2 multiplayer much more entertaining.
Man, I hope we get revamped Soviet and Ostheer factions for post launch :) DLC . Lost of equipment and units that could still be introduced, especially for the Soviets. With all the love the Germans have gotten, maybe even do Red Army vs Hungarians?
That would be sweet!!! I'm playing the CoH1 Eastern Front mod with my friend and it is an absolute blast!! I love 99% of the gameplay improvements they've made. Microing all those trucks around looks like its going to be super fun!
it's just a shame! Mods for Coh 1 look even more complete and exciting than Coh3, while the factions remain the same and without any additions. It's honestly not acceptable. Above all, the lack of a playable Italian faction in a game based in Italy is literally a joke, just as the umpteenth absence of the Japanese and the lack of Ussr are senseless. They release a incomplete game that will surely be implemented by Dlc, but honestly it's been a long time since I gave money to companies that decided to behave like this and for Coh3 I'll not make an exception.
This preview is/was the multiplayer tech test to determine if their servers were capable... Not all details/animations/textures/shaders were included in this version that WILL be in the main game.
It the multiplayer test build that only had basic low textures, is missing a lighting overhaul update (wasn't ready in time) and had a few bugs that made thing look worse than they should.
The multiplayer test build which is what shown the devs have stated only had the low graphic textures they also fixed a few graphics bugs and done a lighting update so even low graphics will look better in release.
Russia was taken out of the launch... why? If they don't add Japan in the THIRD game then I might as well just keep playing COH2. Seems like everything "extra" will be paid DLC 🙄
Why CoH3 looks so comtrast-less? is it only because of recording? No blacks, even no dark-grey, only light-grey, no shadows... looks so unnatural and like 20 years ago.
if they only they make basic controls similar to warcraft or dota, it will be easier for them to build muscle memory if they somehow wants to try this game
