@@mrtizio13 you can still see the old Hockenheim layout on satellite view. It has been dismantled, but because it ran through a forest that's still there today, there is a racetrack shaped hole in the forest, clearly visible from above.
Nice collection, well ordered. Now it hits me, that I'm more of a simracing geek than I realize. Have simraced all tracks and layout editions both as official and mods in various sims over the years. Except for one: Monsanto. Remember I read about the venue years ago, now I'm going digging the net for a mod version for a sim. Looks dangerous considering the cars of this vintage. Thanks for upload!
Recebi isso recomendado hoje e adorei. Um trabalho muito bem-feito, meus parabéns sou um grande fã da Fórmula 1.🏁🏎️ (Edit:Sou agora novo inscrito,eu vi seus outros vídeos tbm)
Thank you for not forgetting the bremgarten circuit even tough we in switzerland dont have a permanent racetrack its cool to know that greats like juan manuel fangio and alberto ascari raced on this turf
Great video. If you really wanted to challenge yourself, then I'd suggest doing a version for the pre-WW2 era "AIACR European championship" (The Grand Prix series which preceded F1). Definitely a lot of interesting circuits back then.
I love doing these kinds of things about Formula 1, I have all the grids and results since Silverstone in the year 1950. Everything done by me. More than 10 years of work.
Adelaide resident speaking: How can you stuff up the East Tce onto Rundle Rd section with the black/red outline markings when the map is there? The second right turn after Senna Scicane was never that long. When the local V8 series took over they turned right onto Bartel Rd before the left/right onto East Tce.
@1 1 That is not accurate. The big pile up occured at the start of the race just after la source. There was another small crash at the same place after the second start involving Hakkinen and Herbert. Also lap 24 Schumacher leading the race ran into Coulthard, who was one lap behind, as he tried to pass him in the straight line between speaker and Pouhon double gauche. Schumacher lost the whole front right wheel but miraculously manage to keep control of his car for the rest of the lap. Hill, who took the lead at the second start, and was passed by Schumacher in bus stop lap 7, won the race. Only 8 pilots finished the race that day. The bus stop chicane was modified twice, in 2004, and in 2007 with a new pitlane entrance. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-R22nxVYLaBQ.html A memorable race to be sure !
if you pay attention, many tracks after 94 had chicane changes on high speed curves, that's FIA learning from her mistakes in the tragics accidents on that year.
Still though, there is a human driver in the car, why no adaptation to the track? If you have a track that you KNOW you can't go full bore on in certain segments, then why are you going full bore in those segments? Yes, challenge yourself and try to better your times through sections like that, but don't try to play "invulnerable god". I would like to see a return to smaller cars and tracks that are all around aesthetically pleasing with drivers smart enough to drive just to the limits of them.
@@waynepurcell6058 bro, its literally racing, everyone will push beyond the track's limits, and senna was even more eager to be the best cuz he simply was this way, even when winning races, if he felt like he performed bad, he wasn't able to be satisfied with himself, and ''invulnerable god'' lol, it wasn't like every other racer did that segment the exact same way and speed, 3 accidents and 2 deaths in 1 weekend isnt fine, that race should've never happened to begin with, F1 was completly different and dangerous on that era and FIA didn't have the care for safety they have nowadays.
@@DanArnets1492 No I never played Grand Prix Legends or any PC games. But after playing all 3 Project Cars. I kinda surprise they didn't add the 60s layout.
I miss the Nurburging with its Flugplatz. And Spa Francorchamps. And the original Watkins Glen (and maybe Phoenix). And Monza (although Mugello looks good.), Zandvoort and Brands Hatch. And if somebody ever, ever, removes Monaco, they should be drawn and quartered at the start line. And.....I wish American TV had shown more Formula 1 through the years.
@@Bloodrayne800 what do you mean? Silverstone is still a great racetrack. If you took the 90's Silverstone on todays calendar, everyone would complain about no overtaking opportunities
Why is the distance 5,303 km instead of 5.303km for example? That's because in many countries with Romance or Latin based languages, the comma and period have opposite places. While in English 4,000 is four thousand, in Portuguese that number is just 4 and vice versa.
