All buffs don't effect companions if you have more than one (except for the horse) the ability that gives you the opportunity of having 2 thralls excludes the buffs. I used the lotus burner golem with radium head in kurak dungeon it has been very useful with purple lotus he boosted my armor and with his health pool he managed enemies without problems, golems are really useful, shame they cannot be repaired or scrapped in the dismantling bench, I hope they'll add this feature in future.

Thank you very much! The Brimstone parts (I guess that's what you meant with Sulfur) are giving of a poisonous cloud when the Golem gets hit. We're working on a complete Golem guide, but it's still taking a bit time as we've had a few very busy weeks here.

I made a pair of lotus burners to just roam about slaying mobs, they are awesome. I got lucky with the first torso being in an underwater chest I like to go check whenever I start a new game. Took me a while to get legs though, I only had a stone and an iron one, a pair of crystal arms and a rodium head for my first golem. I also made me the golem looking armor. Golem stuff reminds me of Warforged from DnD. I made that robo dog and I hate it. It never follows, all it does is roam around the base and block entrances and bark annoyingly. The dog is made with a wolf so I thought I would have a combat pet, sadly it is not. Hope they change that or something.

Sounds great - the Radium head is also a lucky find! Actually haven't built the robot dog yet, need to check it out - seems to be the latest trend to introduce decorative pets that can't be properly controlled.

I'm sure you'll be getting a ton in no time. Don't forget to even check the regular, small wooden chests - even those can have the better parts in them!

@@Pixelcave Oh yeah I tend to skip the regular wood ones more often than not. I have begun crafting the iron legs but I want some crystal legs for a lightning head golem I am making. I wonder what it does. I tested the exploding head one with a stone tar covered golem. It was fun!

the fact it doesnt affect thralls and other followers makes it not worth it, I'd rather have a crystalline brimstone torso

@@Pixelcave Incense is an item in the game that you can unlock the knowledge for by maxing out a religious alter, finding a tier 4 priest for it and then destroying the entire lot by summoning the avatar. Your video doesn't even mention this item, other than in the title This item is very puzzling because it takes a great amount of effort to unlock the knowledge. And yet the item doesn't seem to do anything. Given that incense was a item in the game long before the age of sorcery or Golems were introduced, it is highly unlikely that it is related to golems.

The title of the video clearly states "All Golem Lotus Buffs" - a guide dedicated to Golems. It covers the ability to build the Lotus Burner Torso that burns various Flowers as "Incense" in order to get buffs. If you look at the title, teaser and description - or simply watch the intro, nothing implies we're covering Religion/Avatars here and this guide is dedicated to this particular Golem feature. Anyway, sorry you didn't find what you were looking for, unfortunately we don't have a guide on the topic you were hoping to find.

it affects the player and those in the clan, if each member has a similar golem, you could likely get ALL the buffs, plus whatever buffs you get from food, potions, etc etc

With the War Party perk you can have 2 golems follow you, so 2 buffs if you like. And hey, Golems can be friends too! 😀

So u basically cant use the lotus buff with them on guard, oh well that sucks .. i was planning to use them as buff for my other base guards.. meh, idea down the drain then.

Unfortunately not, no. But as far as we have tested, even if the buff would be active "on guard", it would anyway not have worked as the buff only affects other players, not followers.

Could it be a bug? My thralls end up fighting my golem so I'm guessing there is some issues with coding for who is friendly and who is enemy

@@isaacjacobs4397 Not sure in regards to the buff, but I believe they confirmed at one point that it's supposed to only affect players.

Can happen if you accidentally hit your Golem - it's a bug we would have hoped to be fixed with Age of War...
