All Hisuian Ancestors in Pokémon Legends Arceus in just 60 seconds! You’ve never seen anything this fast before! Hehe! From Kamado to Volo, these are all the ancestor and descendant relations in the game!
Made me tear up a bit when Cyllene spoke about passing on the Galaxy Team to her descendents, making them proud. If only she knew how that turned out smh
Kinda sad, because of the context of galactic being a great organisation, we know Cyrus basically uses his family namesake to promote his own, completely separate propaganda
I thought it was kinda cool to see that like most other organizations team galaxy/red/rocket all probably had good intentions and then became corrupted.
And Agatha is evil in the pokemon adventure manga which is where they probably got the inspiration for it. It could be that this game is set in an alternate dimension to main series pokemon that's why they look so similar.
Note: Charm is also hinted to being related to both Bertha AND Agatha, as they all have similar hairstyles and Charm uses both a Rhydon and a Gengar, those being Bertha's and Agatha's aces respectively (well Bertha has a Rhyperior to be precise but same thing)
It’s also hinted back in DPPt that Bertha is Agatha’s cousin or sister and she has a prior relationships with Oak and that’s kinda the reason they had a falling out.
I'm pretty sure the Protagonist of Legends Arceus are just an older Dawn/Lucas.... They aren't ancestors the game literally starts with time travel, so they're either just older versions of them or they are their children.
Palina could be Prof. Magnolia's ancestor? Never considered that before, but it could be possible. This would make her Sonia's ancestor as well. Also I could Iscan being an ancestor of Nessa.
@@bruced09 i mean, they dont rlly have much in common other than their skin colour. Even then its fully possible, ancestors dont need to look like carbon copies of they descendants. For all we know that random npc in jubilife village that has an interest in starlys could be the ancestor of giovanni, and thats fully possible
Fun Fact about prof laventon: in the german version of the game he still uses some English words every now and then, which further envorces the theory of him being from galar(a region based on England) also in one of his pokedex entries he mentions that one elephant pokemon from galar(sorry I can't think of its name right now) as being from his home region (I think it's the Raichu entry if you want to read it yourself)
Copperajah was originally from another region, likely PokéIndia. Laventon himself may be born from a British-Indian family of Pokémon Biology scholars who lived in UK/Galar but he himself chose to settle in Hisui and years later his descendants went back to Galar thus giving birth to Hop.
the game takes place in the mid to late 1800's so if you think about it theyre only great grandparents for a majority of the cast and being just regular ones for older characters
@@Lunacy4 What proof is there that it's _only_ the 1800's? No one knows about "Old Hisui", and both clans are completely forgotten by the time of Lucas and Dawn.
@@Lunacy4 It takes place farther, no one remembers the galaxy team or the clans, or hisui. The landscape change from hisui to sinnoh is too dramatic to be that too
Two notes: 1. It’s likely Laventon is an ancestor of Leon and Hop as he is from Galar and-like Hop-is not skilled at throwing Poké Balls. 2. How dare you rip off Hmaz
Just to add on to the discussion, in the hospital like area, there is an ancestor to nurse joy, and in one of the beds there is a man complaining about his back hurting, which I suspect to be the captain of the ss Anne in red and blue
There is also the nurse in the galaxy building who appears to be an ancestor to Mira and Nurse Joy, as well as a side-quest Lucario trainer who is Riley's ancestor.
Fun fact! After being defeated at Avalugg's Legacy, Gaeric says, "Outstanding! I'm tough as an iceberg, but you smashed me through and through!" This is the same quote Wulfric uses in Pokémon X and Y upon being defeated.
Considering the fact that Legends Arceus appears to take place in the mid-late 1800s and if we assume that X and Y take place in 2012 (they're said to take place alongside B2W2), it's possible that Gaeric was still alive when Wulfric was a child and that they could have met, and perhaps Wulfric picked that quote up from Gaeric
Sabi may also be Hapu's ancestor! Keep in mind that the family tree can spread and become very vast. So it's totally possible that Cheryl and Hapu are distant relatives!
You also missed the head of the medical corps being related to Mira, the dude with the lucario being related to Riley, but another fun one is in the houses of the diamond and pearl clans there’re photos of the ancestors of Alder, Archie, and Maxie.
Kinda makes sense because Volo is obsessed with the Pokémon God and Lusamine created a bastardized version of Arceus in the form of Frankensteinization of several Pokémon to create Silvally.
Not sure if anyone saw this yet but Team Magma's Maxie is one that looks at progress which the diamond clan and time focus on, while Archie believes in nature's preservation and Pearl clan believing in maintaining the old ways and respecting them so fitting their ancestors are in those clans.
The professor one is pretty much confirmed with him 100% being from galar from what we hear him say in the pokedex aswell as same color scheme when it comes to the hat and skin color
There's talk and theories that Adaman might be related to Acerola with the hair style and Acerola claiming to be some thing along the lines of a princess assuming that Adaman maintained power through the clan, it would be safe to assume that his descendants would maintain power.
Rei and Akari are probably Dawn and Lucas ancestors, but the one who was sent to the past (character you play as) is wearing a shirt which you can wear in pokemon X and Y meaning they came from the Kalos region.
I like how some of them arent just from gen 4. But i think thats because japan at some point was trying to be more "diverse" because as is well known japan was closed off from the world for a very long time. I really like how it takes ideas and things from the time period and uses it in a creative way! Ancestors for popular Pokémon characters is a genuis idea. I didnt think about till now but "team galatic" are basically the British/Americans.
Charm is also related to Agatha because the gengar she got is from Kanto, and it’s true bc it’s in the dialogue of charm when you fight her in firespit island, and gengar represents Agatha and Rhydon represents bertha
I have a personal theory that the player character in legends is the now champion or pre-adventure player (either or) from diamond and pearl and bdsp, and like the game says memory loss is inflicted with no reasoning mentioned, but I think it is because of meeting god, then time traveling, and then lastly falling a great distance presumably headfirst.
Coin is related to both Agatha and Bertha. We not only see a striking resemblance to both of them, but having their signature Pokémon; Gengar and Rhydon
I mean, you hear a voice line from Cogita that says to drop the Mistress title when Volo calls her Mistress Cogita. And her prior connection to Volo, who is a mysterious age, may lead you to believe that Volo and Cogita are together maybe in the future, if not already
Voice line? Haha I totally ship them too but it's complicated considering Cogita has no idea how to relate to people and keeps everyone at arm's length, and Volo is...well, omnicidal.
What I love about PLA when it comes to this is how the descendants are from different regions and not just Sinnoh. I think Beni can definitely be Wally's ancestor because I have a head canon that Beni moves to Hoenn after his service to the Galaxy team is done. He even mentions leaving Hisui when you talk to him after the story is done.
Charm may also be related to Agatha because they use a gengar(and the ancestors use pokemon that their current day relatives use) and also is originally from Kanto
Oh, If Palina is Professor Magnolia's ancestor, it's curious because there are people who thinks that Iscan is related to Nessa, and Magnolia is Sonia's grandma. So curious, because it's known that Sonia and Nessa are best friends who met herselves in the gym challenge when they were younger, and Palina and Iscan have a friendship or something.
That is just so interesting seeing all the games characters and the newer characters connected by the way the ingo and emmet card from the team up card series it has a version of ingo where he isn't a warden and his cloak isn't ripped
It's implied that Charm is actually related to both Agatha AND Bertha because all of the bandit sisters use the same Pokemon as their descendants and Charm uses Gengar and Rhydon.
YES MAGNOLIA OF COURSE. I know not ALL characters were based on other Pokemon characters, but I could not help thinking Palina was related to someone we knew. Magnolia makes so much sense. Also, I’ve seen comments saying Iscan is maybe Raihan’s ancestor, or maybe Marshall’s. But I immediately thought of Matt, the Team Aqua Admin. He could also be the ancestor of Archie, but that’s a stretch. Could be he just doesn’t have a descendant.
A lot of people think Adaman has no one related to him, but I actually think he is related to Barry, the only indication is that they are both super impatient, but that's enough for me.
