Hi I found your content about a week ago and find it fascinating. Before I found you I had been doing push ups for about 1 week ago (I’m 13) with no exercise experience but for some reason I’m stuck on 15 push-ups and can’t seem to get past it I would love if you new a way to fix that
Thanks for posting! It looks like you mounted to drywall? Is it using normal studs? I saw they recommend concrete or brick on their site and have been waiting for reviews to come out on drywall before ordering.
😢😢😢Bro I saw your pushup tutorial and followed it for 2-days... But now, my elbow pit has started hurting badly and I'm forced to keep it bent, if I straighten my elbow, it gives me immense pain. What am I supposed to do?😢😢😢 Here's what I did: 20 Normal Knee pushups 20 Diamond Knee pushups 30 Crunches 30 Seconds Plank
It sounds like you went way too hard way too fast, you've likely done some damage to your tendons which will take some time to heal but should be fine after a few weeks. Next time start much slower as your tendons are much less adaptable than your muscles and will take time to get to the same level. Also 100% need to warm up really well before a hard set or you will 100% injure yourself again. I'd recommend getting some resistance bands and look up warm ups specific to the training day you're about to do, it's 10 to 15 minutes extra time but saves you taking 2 weeks off. Now, plenty of protein for healing and ibuprofen will help with the pain and inflamation
Also wouldn't recommend doing any workouts two days in a row cause you damage the muscles (in a good way) on day 1,then if you try to work out again, you'll do the bad kind of damage. Try a different muscle group each day with at least one full rest day a week, two or three when you're starting out. Also your diet is half the battle, plenty of protein and vitamins or you'll trash your immune system and get sick way easier.
Sounds like muscle soreness. Take a few days off and if it doesn’t feel better after a few days then see a doctor to make sure you didn’t injure yourself
@fitfrhome are you sure it's the muscles? Elbow pit sounds like tendonitis, there's no muscle where his pain is centered and tendonitis is a common beginner injury
alot of beginners mistake sore biceps/triceps for an elbow injury because it hurts to extend fully or bend fully. After a really hard arm day i can't fully extend my arms either the next day due to the soreness. safest bet is to lay off for a few days see if it recovers and if not see a doctor @@Connor-s1k
how did you mount it to the wall? I'm installing mine in a garage where the bottom will be going into a concrete stem wall, but the top into studs. trying to determine if I need to use a stringer
I have the same problem. I'm from Germany and we have Atletica and SQMIZE here. I wanted to buy ironmaster im2000, but this model does not have cables. I think what will be more useful to me. I have models with cables and a Smith machine here, but I have garages underneath. and it weighs about 450 kg. I'm a little scared.
