The impeccable/comedic timeing for these intro cards are honestly what sold this show for me I can’t wait to see how they exploit these in the later seasons

Love how title cards usually show up a few minutes into the episode, but some of the Invincible title cards don't show up till the episode is half over.
Gotta keep the tradition. What would be funny is if in season 2, the title card doesn’t play at all, and so in the next episode they have to do it twice to compensate for it
I really like the name "Invincible" In the comics Mark chooses the name while he's high on the hype of finally being a hero, but the show and the comics go to great lengths to show that the name is wrong and Mark (or no one for that matter) is **title card plays**
"Indestructible!" "Determination that is incorruptible" "From the other side a terror to behold" "Annihilation will be unavoidable" "Every broken enemy will know" "That their opponent had to be- *title card*
Each episode title card gradually gets bloodier and bloodier. I wish more shows would do something unique like that, especially ones where the show gets darker and darker as it goes on.
@@dainyoo4744 It's just a piano version of the title card theme. If you listen to all of the intros back to back you notice it's the same tune just with different tones and instruments

They really played it great. Every time it happened there was like small drop of blood, even in the episode Mark really got his shit pushed in. So seeing this, when it's just straight-up covers the half of the title-card is just chilling.
The blood splatter is pretty cool, of course, but it's also cool that they use a very simple title theme that the composer can modify to fit the situation it appears, like a music cue.
Side note: *love* how Cecil took the slap from Debbie and didn't even respond to it. Her feelings were absolutely justified, yet, he couldn't have risked Nolan finding out. He's such a good guy.
0:01 I love this fight as Mark just flew by and how the villain is awake trying to hold on to the concrete where he takes another punch losing his balance
If you were in his position, you would also desperately assume Omniman's own son would be able to take him on since Mark is his own flesh and blood, he was probably rooting that Mark would somehow find an inner power within himself, basically like Goku activating his Super Saiyan form or some shit, but of course that is a very common trope in superhero storytelling so the writer somehow made Mark win through words and love for his dad instead. Plus he likes making the main protagonist get beat up in every fight.
It's crazy how great this is, each time you sense dread as it gets worse and worse, but by the end you can only get the feeling of triumph and the overcoming of fear itself.
