isn't it possible to be completely neutral until you are done with Nar shaddaa? Neutral gives you Mira and shouldn't trigger the visas scene.

Every time I've had that Mira conversation, it's always been Handmaiden. I did have high influence with Handmaiden and Visas so maybe that's the trigger?

Interesting... but then again, it could be the Mandela effect striking back, whatever that conundrum is.

@@ingolf82 See that's what I thought too. I was completely neutral going into the beggar scene. But the game forces it. There's no way to avoid getting either light side or dark side points in that interaction. In one playthrough I actually avoided Nar Shaddaa and finished 2 planets completely neutral without Visas and it broke the game.

Yeah that sounds right. No premature aging, graying of hair and of course, no turning of the skin gray like a corpse

Light side users wear black robes more often then dark siders do. Anakin wears nothing but black after being knighted. Same with Luke. Sidious wears red.

Hence why I typically incorporate those White/ Yellow Visor’d Mandalorian Masks onto my Dark Side/Sith Characters. Spares me looking at their tofu faces.

I've grown so attached to all the characters in these games I always feel terrible being evil

Though to be fair I'm normally good to my companions but literal satan to everyone else

Something about Kotor 2 always resonated with me, I loved the darker atmosphere, and it being less about the typical star wars good vs evil, with more shades of grey thrown in there, questioning the hypocrisy of the Jedi, but also the brutish and self destructive nature of the Sith I definitely feel like Kotor 2's characters resonated with me more, As a kid playing the game for the first time I was TERRIFIED of Nihilus and Sion. And while most of Kreia's wisdom went over my head back then I could at least get the idea that she was VERY complex and well made. Plus being able to train your companions as Jedi was endlessly cool to me. Not to mention being rewarded for getting on their good side with information, new abilities, stat boosts etc was a really nice touch. Rewarded you for talking with your companions

KOTOR 1 has nothing on KOTOR 2, honestly. 2 is way deeper. 1 is almost standard SW fairy tale.

@@GlizzyGoblin757 are you high? Kotor 1 does not have a single interesting companion, aside from HK. Carth is the prime example of what is boring character is, while i personally like Bastilla, she is not that special either, and everyone else has barely any personality. Canderous present in both games. Atton is a great grey character, and Kreia is probably one of the greatest characters of all time.

A stupid death scene. They disrespected the exile in that story.

@@GreenFalcon926 agreed totally for me the Revan novel and SWTOR are non canon. Total disrespect of the exiles character and reduced revans depth and nuance as well

@@aamirrazak3467 In SWTOR they at least tried to fix what they did to Revan and the exile in that novel, especially a new storyline they released last year. Gave them both some closure.

@@GreenFalcon926 true I did see that. I just don’t like the idea of Revan being brainwashed by vitiate to become Sith it removes his agency as a character. And I hated how the exile became just a generic Jedi fan girl in the novel it removed her nuance as a character. I wish we could’ve had obsidians KOTOR 3 instead of SWTOR

@@aamirrazak3467 I call it the "Jurassic Park 3" mistake, in Jurassic Park 3 they decide to bring in the Spinosaurus as the new "big bad" dinosaur by having it kill off the T-Rex within the first five minutes. Why? Because it makes it seem like their new dino is "bigger" and "badder" than the old baddie. That's exactly what they did to Revan, they took a great, powerful and nuanced character and made him a brainwashed chump just to say "LOOK HOW BIG AND BAD VITIATE IS GUYS!" not realizing how many classic KOTOR fans they pissed off by disrespecting him.

In the game, you cannot get Brianna as a companion if you are playing the female character, and same with Disciple as a male. Though in the cannon they both joined Meetra, in the game only one does depending on gender.

@@Jabinc my knowledge of KOTOR 2 is again based on watching Darthycey's videos of Meetra Surik and Brianna joined the Exile after leaving Telos. Where I am now playing the game after leaving Telos and going to Korriban without Brianna and I don't think that's right but I'm comparing the game to what I've seen in the fan videos

@@georgesuarez8325 Well, like Jabinc said the companion that joins you is dependant on the gender of your Exile. In canon it is true that both The Handmaiden and the Disciple join up with the female Exile, but due to gameplay mechanics you can only get one, there might be a mod on Nexusmods though that makes it possible to get both as either gender but I am not sure how it works.
