I can definitely see where your coming from but I argue it’s a smidge better than Mortal kombat where you have to buy the whole dlc cast regardless of which ones you want

Yeah I always think it's lame to put characters behind a paywall, I don't mind paying for costumes and some extras but it's annoying to not even able to train against DLC characters unless you purchase them first. I at least would prefer them to be cheaper or just grind for in-game fight money in an accessible way, I'll wait for some price drops myself.

I agree, more people aren’t complaining publicly about this. When a game gets mainstream/really popular people tend to overlook this kinda stuff just to keep playing like it doesn’t exist. Scummy, but a small handful of people not buying isn’t gonna change anything, cuz it doesn’t affect the bottom line. Other people have to care for it to change anything. The amount of coping I’ve seen when I bring this up is crazy, idk why people can’t enjoy the game and admit the currency is scummy as hell. On the bright side, if you want 2 characters buying $15 worth of tokens should get you enough cuz 2 characters is 700 tokens. So if you buy them in sets of two you pretty much pay $7.30 for them with 50 tokens leftover. My other problem is they ain’t ever gonna put the characters on sale now. Not an official steam page product, no sales. They just want you to get the season passes of course. No cares for people who want a few characters. It’s not the greedy bad games that create new industry standards, it’s the good ones people overlook the greed on because the game is good.

I won't buy him. He's price gouged and he's broken so scrubs will want to buy him for a carry. He has made this game worse.
