Actually, Scorpion was never evil. Sgang Tsung, Quan Chi, Shao Khan, Shinnok and other evil guys promise him that he will find out who killed his family and clan. Quan Chi dressed up as Sub-Zero, so he could control Lin Kuei. Scorpion killed Sub-Zero. Them after he killed Quan Chi. Then Sub-Zero's brother came and made friends with Scorpion

I hope they remake it in the future but with a few new things: - ACTUAL FATALITIES - Remove the growling like weirdos from the fatalities - Make 2D fighting instead - Add a Single Fight feature against an AI - Make fatality practice - Add some characters as DLC, because this roster was kind of disappointing.

The classics (1-4) will always be in my heart as pure nostalgia. Then the 3-D ones (DA, Deception and Armageddon) was a strange era, they were ok for their time, but haven't aged very well. Then MK vs DC was a unexpected twist and hated by most fans, but made the ground for things to come. Finally the last trilogy (9-11) are the best we've seen since the originals, specially MK9, which will never be topped.
