Absolutely hilarious! Phoebe moaning and groaning and howling with grief was one of the funniest scenes of all! Kudos to the late Ruth Warrick for her portrayal of this wonderful, regal, yet very funny character. RIP Ruth, you are sorely missed.
Susan Lucci's character really inherited Ruth Warrick's character, but Lucci had been the best of friends, for 35 years, until Warrick's passing. May Lucci mentor's #RIP. (1916 - 2005).
The gentleman that hung up the phone for Phoebe, wasn't that Louis Edmonds, who play Roger Collins on Dark Shadows? Even if I didn't see his face, his voice was surely recognizable. Don't know as to who he was playing, but I wasn't all that much into soap operas. Dark Shadows was my whole favorite!
As hard as it is to take your eyes off Warrick's performance, it is interesting to watch the assorted 'table companions' as she stumbles and insults everyone. Watch for their reactions in character as the embarrassing episode unfolds.
It is an oddly- lit shot, but I believe it is Ellen. She was married to Ross Chandler...wonderful actress who did a brief spot on a Murphy Brown episode.
@@robertgalbreath6239 There's a funny outtake of Noone (Ellen) rustling through her papers and a loose address label slipped out between the papers and fell into her cleavage.
