Quite a pedal collection. I have a large collection also. Surprised that we didn't have many in common. My collection also branches off into modded pedals and one off/custom pedals too. Great video!!

Hey Henning, got a demo of the Torpedo Cab? It sounds like just what I need if it's true to the name and the same quality as the bigger torpedo units. And the boss DD units, I'm using a DD3 right now, does what it says and does it as you expect. Nothing special like a Diamond ML but then again, I just use this pedal to harmonize my signal with itself :) My core tone, because I have a "pedal platform" amp with really nice clean and not so nice reverb on the drive channel, is the KHDK ghoul screamer into the ZVEX box of rock. The BOR is 99.6% of the time on.

I'm not Henning but … you should specify what tones you want. There are so many beautiful boutique pedals out there but they usually come with very specific sound profiles. If any delay/chorus/reverb/distortion/fuzz/wet sneaker sounded the same there wouldn't be a point to pay 5x as much than the cheapest option. If you want nice short pedal demos without Henning's dirty old man jokes (which is fair enough for a quicky - sometimes that's all you want) then have a look at "Knobs" …

Henning, you should try that Archer with your BigSky or Mobius. After 10 secs, you will definitely settle for the Tumnus and sell that Archer. :-)

I seriously want to hear ALL of them hooked up into one mega pedal signal chain but in the OFF position, and then I want to hear ALL of them on. Thirty seconds of ALL OFF and thirty seconds of ALL ON. Can you do this? Localized power brown-out?

He occasionally decribed the OCD sound as something he didn't like too much, always full blast like the amp's about to explode. I can't really spell the sound he usually makes to embellish that, something like 'booorrrffff' ; )

DerEchteBold that's odd to me. I've had the exact opposite experience with the OCD. Maybe he got a defective one. That's another thing I was surprised by. The amount of defective pedals he had. In my twenty years of buying pedals I've only ever had 1. Maybe I just lucked out. But either way to each his own.

Haha, no I don't think they were broken, that typical 'cranked amp' sound isn't just anyone's taste. I have a Mooer OCD clone and it's ok but I can understand what he means. And yes, you lucked out! I have 20-25 pedals (some off e-bay) and almost half of 'em have at least some slight issue.

If you dont mind me asking. You have alot of pedals (which is cool) that range in price from very cheap to pretty expensive and different brands. If you can, could you tell me the build quality difference and just the general differences between the cheap and exspensive and also what your personal opinion is on the qaulity of joyo pedals, how long do you think they will last and all that. Thanks for any help and cheers for all the youtube content.
