The massage function option only comes with the 14 ways seats .When you added the massage it automatically picked 14 ways seats .Nice presentation.Great to see different perspectives on how to option out this amazing vehicle.

Good catch! Yup, I watched a bunch of similar videos when I optioned my Macan, helps with some of the choices!

@@SomeGuysGarage Yes same definitely helps .If I buy this car I’ll drop the massage seats for the 18 way adjustment.I’m try to decide between this and the ice GTS .

@@alexi21san yeah, I like the 18 ways much better than the 14's, I'd opt for them over massage too. The price of the EV seems high compared to outgoing ICE...ya, there will be more straight line performance and modern touches, but I love my 21 GTS and have no desire to change to an EV yet.

@@SomeGuysGarage maybe you can update it to the ev Macan in a few years .I know this ice Macan is the last 1 ever so if I don’t buy it now I never will .I’d be happy with either of them to be honest .

Useful video, thanks. In the UK the Macan 4 comes with steel suspension only. If your going for 21s or 22s is the PASM enough or would you go for air suspension as options? I have seen forums saying PASM is what gives the ride quality but not sure that applies when you have massive 22s. Also I wondered whether the colour badge on the wheel centre and the Porsche logo print on the seats are some of the better value options that add a little extra detail - these are options for the Macan 4 but seem reasonably priced

Obviously haven't driven both with and without on the EV...but on the old Macan, air suspension is 100% worth it for big wheels (or just in general). The biggest thing it does is smooth out those initial impacts on bumps in the road. And yeah, the wheel centers should only come colour IMO, why they cheap out on black/white ones is beyond me (more separating you from your money going on). The logos aren't too bad price wise, so ya, I would consider optioning them. I have the GTS logos on my headrests, but that was standard equipment on the old GTS.

@@SomeGuysGarageAnother couple of questions if you don’t mind. What’s the default if you don’t chose the 4 zone climate ? Presumably it is 3 zone which means there is one toggle for both rear passengers? Also wondered why you think the Macan needs a prominent side skirt rather than one that blends in? Thanks

@@milesyounghamilton Just two zone if you don't opt for four. It used to be the same, two zone, or optional third zone in the back...they've just improved the option from 3 zone to 4 zone. And, not a side skirt...the side blade. It's that panel low on the doors on both sides. If you get it body coloured it looks weird, but black/carbon/silver (I prefer black) gives it some nice contrast. Google for "body colour side blades macan" and you'll see what I mean.

Great video. I like the look but would not buy until the PCCB was available as an option. This is my favourite option on my current Macan.

I have just the regular steel brakes on my 21 GTS...are the PCCB's that much better on the Macan? I haven't had a chance to try a Macan with PCCB's or PSCB's.

@@SomeGuysGarage yes they are amazing. No dust on the wheels or rust on the disc. Shorter braking distance. Also they look cool as they fill the wheel and add yellow colour to my sapphire blue.

Yup, it's just too much...you'd think they would learn after the Taycan sales slumps that people aren't paying 40-50% more for an EV.

Just realise how you guys in the US are spoiled by Porsche, the list of standard equipment is huge compare to the list in the EU countries 😞!

Well this is the Turbo, the base 4 gets less standard....but even then, some options are nice a la carte.

Turbo is £95k in the U.K. starting which is $120k

Some people in Chicago found out how well they do perform in the real world. I know the company blames it on not preparing the battery to take a charge. but when was the last time you had to prep a fuel tank for a refill?@@SomeGuysGarage

Well, more like Genesis stealing design from Porsche...the EV Macan looks a heck of a lot like the old Macan, which has been around longer than the GV60.
