Yes they are. the S class coupe is just fantastic. why would you want something more expensive that has an inferior interior. the only interior IMO that is better is the Pagani Huayra.

why would you change something that it's perfect? I love the new face of Mercedes and I love the fact that all of their cars have the same touches.

It ends up ruining the excitement for new cars. Look at Audi, at one point they had modern, fresh designs. Now they're stale and the cars just look like larger iterations of each other.

They kept the similar quad headlight design if you look at the led's, which are only unique to the E class

The C does have "4" lights, but the main difference, and it has pretty much always be the case for the E Class since the W210, is the strong separation between the four "lights". On the previous gen, it was a thin piece of metal, but now it has been replace with a LED shape. You can see that on both the S and the C there is a single eyebrow-ish LED shape (don't be fooled by the metal surroundings when the lights are off), while, as you can clearly see on the new E43 AMG photos, you have two pieces, with the lower and smaller one being very similarly shaped than the Previous gen's metal part that separated the headlights. Mercedes knows that's a strong point on the E, and i'm not sure they will give up that easily on it.

That sounds like an awesome name!

It's not for the driving enthusiasts, but its more technologically advanced than any car in its segment. Mercedes are always inventing, they don't think backwards. If you want low tech with lots of fun driving dynamism go for a Subaru or Mazda, if you want a more expensive but not too powerful car go for BMW without the m power. Lots of choices here, and I think Mercedes right on the track as we all know whatever Mercedes put on their car, others tend to follow. Yes, even the more expensive brands.

+‫سلیمان ذوالفقار‬‎ I partly agree. I don't mind a screen if the speed is shown as a dial; I hate the digital number for the speed. reading a dial is much faster to read then the written out number, just like an analag watch; A dial is enough to keep in your periphery to read.

+Behemothokun I think digital dials are the most ugly thing in the world. I don't mind digital numbers, but mimicking analog dials on a screen just doesn't make sense to me.

riemjann1 Analog dials are of course more then enough, but if they have to put a screen there, then atleast it should still look like a dial. Like I said, I hate numbers for something like speed. Not sure where this "trend" comes from, but it's stupid.

Yep I agree in the uk where I live in Bristol they are everyday where and are used as taxis even the c class is on the best selling car list they aren't anything special unless you get the S class however it unfortunately looks to be less superior to the new E class as it doesn't have the new tech the E class does like keyless go and that new key that doesn't look like its from the 80's

In Germany quite a lot Texis are E-Classes ;) (Yes a fair few of'em are C-Classes, some others arent even MB!) 😉
