Even Ativa NVH is more better than New City. Besides, many New City owners also complaining about paint quality came off easily. Especially also heard from New City owners also complaining about Earth Dream Gearbox as I said again.

Ativa use akashi kikai dcvt...not like toyota provide by aisin.... Ativa (baby suzuki brezza)use old 2004 3 piston daihatsu..even myvi n vios use newer 2008 dual vvti.honda city use more modern 4 piston ...yg lain ativa win !

Driving my new city could feel jerking because of Earth Dream Gearbox. And can hear loud noise from engine even during driving on the streets and highway.

Just reliability doesnt always play good with CVT transmission in long term usage... We will see how perodua first cvt venture will be later on...

@@AmirPomen just to let you know, my parents have a cvt transmission car that is 11 years old with half million KM on the mileage. still running fine like new. its a nissan cvt. not sure if you are talking about proton cvt

To be honest i personally knew atleast 2-3 nissan cvt user than habe been changing cvt gearbox/rebuild it minimum 2 times within less than 300k km mileage...thats on nissan alone... For proton and mitsubishi cvt is another story... As well as subaru non turbo model cvt... Especially if driven hard or mildly hard... Jot to jinx it ot whatsoever.. its just in general, cvt is less reliable than normal torque converter auto gearbox...

I think nobody mention about 1.5T... its about 1.0T vs 1.5NA from Perodua... both have almost the same power with Ativa 98bhp @ 140nm torQue while Myvi 1.5NA 103bhp @ 136nm torQue... if I want power, I will get the CX-3 which has a better look compare to X50... Just the brand itself is ahead of X50...

@@65_soon 220ps Passat with full load I can clearly feel the car slower compare to single person ride. Same goes to every car, full load is clearly feel less power. If you hold this concept the best suit to you is 2 seater car where the power not much affected even if you taking 1 passenger. Ativa is 1.0T and pls don't expect the power delivery like 1.5T or 2.0T.

If 1 person can go fast like this,offcoz la more passenger can do it.btw nobody will drive their family like uncle did..

same. i have watched few videos of Ativa/Rocky POV drive, the engine does have to rev quite a bit even in city driving.

Actually the turbo boost help to gain the maximum torque at lower rpm. So it's not necessary to floor the paddle like NA car. Pretty decent car for city driving.

Daily usage this ativa cabin is much quiter than duirng uncle YS rev up to genting la.

I think the engine sound is not that noticeable as long as you don' drive like the Master Uncle:)

The car Traction Control and Vehicle Stability Control seems stabilize it quite well when u performed the evasive manuever 👍

Sure. You could easily learn to do that safely over and over again in a computer game. Please never do that in real life unless you have gone through lots of serious car race training and aiming to be a professional car racer. I'm sure many professional untrained drivers did try to drive just like uncle Khong and ended up in serious accidents that either got themselves and/or others seriously injured, paralyzed or killed.

I have a Asx mitsubushi 2.0 L, 7 years car bought it for 42 k with 6 gears auto. My point is why is this 1.0 vechile is so expensive? If the rage is roughly 50 to 60k plus should be a fair price. After all its made in Malaysia. For its original price I would rater choose a Japanese made car which is more reliable.

Notice that too, the car seems to be quite bumpy. The suspension seems quite firm. Not that nice.

I test drove Ativa today about 10 minutes. The car vibration is unnoticeable in low speed nor high speed, but when open door with engine still running the door is "shaking" to show it vibrate. If full throttle the car scream like hxll, but thanks gods it move pretty fast consider it is only 1.0. In low speed surprising the noise isolation is pretty good at this price range. One thing I gave high score on it is the ride is really good and comfort. The suspension absorb bump really well and it feel solid yet comfort. It has feeling of conti ride which is really thumb up for it (I own a Passat B8). Can't comment much on cornering ability as no chance for high speed but in low speed the corner perform great. My little driving experience this Ativa is absolute built for city drive. It doesn't mean not good in highway coz every car can go highway. But not all cars drive well in city.

At centre of screen it will block the video cam at the back. In the console box, there is no anchor, so may fly all over the place. Believe me, I have tried mounting all over.
