Even more than that, there’s probably only 4 players in NBA history who would have the confidence and be reliable enough to take a three-pointer from that distance with the game on the line and with a bit of time left on the clock where a closer shot could have been found. And he’s one of them; the most reliable of them all. 1. Curry 2. Dame 3. Lebron 4. KD
The OKC shot is one of my favorite basketball moments of all time. Detractors will say that the low stakes of it being just a regular season game take away form the moment but that game was important to earning that all-time 73-9 record. It was an amazingly bold and demoralizing shot and Mike Breen's commentary was the exclamation point. "The Brilliant Shooting of Stephen Curry continues." That line has aged like fine wine. I never get tired of watching that game.
@@joshmishra6422Right, the Warriors are struggling right now and that’s how you know that the only ones left are the real fans. I hope those real fans get rewarded again the way they did in 2022. No one ever thought it would happen but that squad did everything they had to in order to make it happen. I’ve never seen Steph so determined. “What they gonna say now!?” One of my favorite all time moments in NBA. Beautiful. Steph is the greatest PG of all time. There, I said it. Now flame me people. Idc. It’s the truth.
That's the best part. LeBron is such a good athlete, he can probably touch the top of the backboard, he has great reflexes and strength. Yet he is sometimes helpless against Curry.
@@orange_cat Dude curry legit looks like he doesn't get tired during games man.He runs the court all the time for the look he wants/gets.Must have some have great condition I guess.
@@orange_cat Lebron's talked about how the only person who can stop Steph Curry is Steph Curry. It must be so frustrating to be so good and yet here's this dude breaking the game with absurd contested 3's just raining down on you. Greatest shooter ever and I'm not sure it's even close. Degree of difficulty on some of these shots is unreal.
2:42 if you saw the game live you understand how insane this shot was. In this season, from the first 10 games every one could see the warriors being the immediate favorites in the west. The only two teams that posed a threat being the spurs and thunder. Warriors beat spurs before this so it truly felt like the only team even possible of competing with MVP Steph. The game goes into overtime. The shot was several feet behind the arc. Never seen a shot with so much confidence live. I was not even a fan of either team.
Now Curry's not in the playoffs, I feel so deprived. So kudos for posting this. Curry literally makes the game so much more entertaining and exciting. My eyes are blessed!
0:47 prime example how curry changed the game, if that happened in 80's-2000's era theres no doubt that the player will take that ball into the paint but curry just stops at the 3 point line
Istg, that 2016 game between OKC and GS will forever remain iconic. My dad was an OKC fan and I could still remember how shocked he was when Curry was able to put it in. Hahahaha.
In the first "bang!", Mike Breen sounds like the regular announcer Mike Breen, but in the second, it's almost like he realizes how iconic of a moment this is as a fan, and you can tell he's almost hysterical, when he says "baaang!" the 2nd time. I watched this live and essentially went temporarily insane because I was borderline in disbelief that one dude could be THAT could THAT great of a shooter. Curry is a marksman of the highest order.
And to think people still don't consider him in the top 10 all time after his last chip is crazy to me he literally changed the game of basketball forever and you have to be amazing to do that
Thanks for the hard work done in making this video. This really made my day. Though 0.01 a sec more than 11 minutes, I felt it finished too early and wanted more. Like a kid who finished his ice cream quickly thinking there's more in the main bowl. Look at curry man, so inspirational!!!
The sheer amount of time it must have taken to put this legendary list together definitely earns a like and sub. Well done. Thanks for the hard work it's highly appreciated.
Incredible quality, great video as per usual. Just one question for you: How big is your disk space, or otherwise where do you store all these full length games lol, genuinely impressed and curious.
what curry achieved as a player who was once doubted, in all honesty, im really proud of curry for coming all this way. Will go down as one of the goats.
This one word can make you so mad you want to cry when your team is losing in the final minute and the game just went out of reach but can also make you so happy you say it too if your team is winning
I love Mike Breen he's just like "They do have a timeout decide not to use it, Curry way down town BANG! BANG! WHAT A SHOT FROM CURRY! WITH SIX TENTHS OF A SECOND REMAINING."
