I really love how Damien laughs at his own jokes not before he says them, like most people, not even during them, instead laughing instantaneously after he finishes saying the joke
@@asherwoodrow7471 DeeLee is Damien's youtube channel that he looks at subreddits on. It's ending but he still has his main channel that I don't know much about. I think its farewell as in him not doing subreddits anymore. I'm not that educated about this but here you go if this helps
1:52 as an Uruguayan Im glad we can connect with other people from different countries, it makes me happy the fact that two people from opposite sides of the world can get along
@@vinxxw Very true, actually just did some research and turns out Vegemite is sometimes used as a pastry filling (as for why, I have no idea, I'm not Australian)
Thanks for making such amazing videos! I was sobbing all night because I miss my home which I can’t go back to (due to some issues going on right now) and your videos made it a bit more comforting
43:50 unOrdinary is a webcomic on Webtoon, that follows a world where everyone has super powers and follows the life of John, a high schooler going to a very prestigious school despite not having any powers. It follows the hierarchy of a world where raw power means everything. It's actually pretty damn good if you ask me, the artist posts weekly and has pretty good art for being a weekly series. 10/10 would recommend
55:29 Fun Fact: Actually, it does not. The Geneva Convention article covering collective punishment specifically states 'in both international and non-international armed conflicts'. Since a classroom obviously isn't an armed conflict, this doesn't apply. What DOES apply is a different set of rules called the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. It doesn't specifically mention collective punishment, but it does give children the right 'to be disciplined in a way that respects their dignity'. Arguably, being punished for something you didn't do could be seen as a form of degrading treatment. Thanks for attending this TED talk...
4:25 You have to leave ONE donut that doesn't have mustard in it, so you can eat it in front of them, so when they assume they are just normal donuts and take a bite, they will immediately regret eating your donuts
Me at the beginning: Hey Damians back! Weird, you'd think he'd make a comment about it. Me about 5 minutes in: Man, what's with all the End Game memes all the sudden? Did I miss something? Me 12 minutes in realizing the red bar isn't even half way acrossed the screen: ...You absolute mad lads.
To be fair, there are fabric scissors out there that cost hundreds of dollars. Not sure which ones were used by the kid, but even the more inexpensive ones are $20-$40. Still don't think death is a suitable punishment lol.
Well if $100 is enough to kill your child i wonder why the kid still lives.. i mean just the medical bills for birthing that child is enough to take the life of every child in the hospital..
Theatre kid and costume designer here. Long story short, you have to be really bloody protective of your fabric scissors because they are expensive but also you really can’t use them for anything else. Being able to make clean, straight cuts on your fabric is really important and if you use your scissors on other things the blades will dull significantly faster and can ruin your scissors very quickly. Think of fabric scissors as a very specialized tool and personally I don’t even cut threads with my pair. The problem is that everyone who doesn’t sew won’t understand that and often tools will be borrowed and then returned when things get hectic. Thus it is sometimes necessary to both label your fabric scissors and instill the fear of god into the other techies of what you will do if they DARE touch your scissors without permission!
OH. MY. GOODNESS. Everyone has joined the battalion and they did it in the most majestic way possible I honestly might cry this is amazing Thank you Team Emkay Y’all are amazing
The 93 year old had me laughing , oldies have their moments and they love a good joke and if you happen to be the butt end of the joke just makes my day. Makes your day when you can laugh along with them.
I completely spaced that this was an hour long video, and I didn't even realize that it was changing narrator until I heard Robin and went "wtf, did I put 2 videos in my playlist back to back? " Yes, it took me 38 minutes to realize this wasnt a standard episode.... Also yes, Damian and Zach sound so similar to me that I didn't even question the voice change. Oh, and Lexi isn't in this one, the blasphemy!
This video tripped me up real good :'D Started playing it without checking the length, watched it while playing a game, first had to check the date of the post after hearing Damien's voice and was like "what, Damien's back? Neat!" Watched some more and started feeling like I'm in some kind of a looping dreamscape with how the time didn't seem to pass since the video wasn't ending, but it was only after I startled at the narrator suddenly being Robin, that I checked the video's info again and holy crap, this was a long one! And I kind of feel bad for Zach, I completely missed the switch between Damien and him xD But then again, I was only half-watching most of the time :'D
Okay... You gotta admit, the point where Damien's staged laughter transitions to "I just made myself laugh, and I'm still laughing at it" is pretty great. xD
thing is, my parents are old enough that "washing your mouth out with soap" was used as a punishment, to make it have no effect I brushed my teeth with soap for 2 weeks while my mom watched just to prove it would not affect me. writing lines and spanking with a wooden spoon were more effective but only just.
53:39 I uh... actually have an interesting story about this video. So, my cousin showed me this video, the entire 2 (?) minutes of it (cant remember how long it was, it was ages ago) and then pointed out one of the guys there. Yeah so uh turns out, my uncle (who is a biochemist and works with medical cannabis / cannabis oil) met the guy she pointed out in real life when the guy asked for an interview about the effects of medical cannabis. I'm not going to point out the guy in the video (for obvious reasons) so sorry if you don't believe me. that was a reminder that it's a small world out there.
47:40 I believe that I have seen that exact sign. It’s either in the creation museum or the the ark encounter. Could be totally wrong, but the background matches up and everything
25:07 This is why I love living in Europe. I have gotten all my education for basically free and I don't don't have to go into debt with the fact that the government is so into taxes that they practically pay for me (and many other students) to go to get a higher education so they can take the money back, with interest, as taxes. I don't mind it since I can get a PhD for free :3
