All pages on wordpress site is showing Object not found except the homepage.
I was making my website and found this problem with all my pages and then found a solution for that. Now I am sharing it with you.
The reason that wordpress is only accessing the homepage and not any other page is that you maybe missing the htaccess file. You don't have to worry about that because its very simple and easy to do. You just have to goto your wordpress dashboard page and click on Settings, Permalinks.
Here you will see some radio buttons you may select first one which will say "Plain" and then save the changes.
Your website may be working now but with ugly parameters in the link for example your about page link will be something like this yourwebsite.com/?page_id=33
Now again come to Settings, Permalinks and change it to "Day and Name" save the changes and you will see that now its working fine.

Great video. I have a premium theme (Farmers StoreOne Pro) I have setup the home page on the theme bit not sure if I did the correctly as I cant see the home content when I go to the home page on WP dashboard. The site is working fine as the home page comes up when I press the home tab on the live site. This is causing some problems as I can see any content on page WP dashboard to do some SEO. If you have the access to your files then delete the .htaccess file and the try again. Make sure to copy of the file before deleting in case you need it if its not working

Hi Man. I got the same problem as well. It works after I have the permalink changed into plain. However, when it change back to by postname or any other type of permalink rather than the plain, the 404 pages just comes back again.😣 Can you help me out?

Hello, Please change the permalinks to plain and then go to the root folder and delete your .htaccess file. Then comeback and change the permalinks to post names and it must be working

If you have access to your cpanel the delete the htaccess file from the root of the website but before that keep the htaccess file in your pc as a backup. Then try changing the permalinks

Are you using Nginx? if you are using Nginx here is a simple fix, using ssh enter the comand: sudo nano /etc/nginx/sites-enabled/default then Change the line in the location block from: "try_files $uri $uri/ =404;" to: try_files $uri $uri/ /index.php?q=$uri&$args; save and reload nginx: sudo systemctl reload nginx I believe this will help alot of people.
