Pokemon games never failed in quality till black 2 and white 2, they could have issues but all were genuinelly very good games, since those games just oras and sm have been decent, scarlet and violet seem that are gonna be pretty decent games, we will have to wait to see

I love how Sun and Moon started off with "let's give every route a unique theme!" and then by Akala Island they were just like "yeah you'll get one of two themes from here on out and you'll like it"
1:49:20. The best route music leading to the Pokemon League and one of the best route themes, if not the absolute best. Thank you Gen 5 composers for this masterpiece, and Yoko Shimomura for her amazing remix in Smash :')

Route 23 in Gen 1 is the one theme that truly stands out from the rest and is definitely in my Top 3 when it comes to victory road/pokemon league themes
Pokemon gen 2 was really innovative in all aspects. I also like how it's less serious than gen 1, the way he has his cap backwards and '' some dude '' teaches you how to catch pokemon lol
Probably an underrated/unpopular pick but I gotta go with Route 18/19/21 from X and Y as my favorite. Runner ups would be 111 and 124 from hoenn, and 205/212 from sinnoh
4:41 I remember you can enter the badge checks right at the beginning of the game. When I was young I was so curious but also intimidated by this area, because the music is very imposing and having to pass the check on every guard made the progression through these gates towards Victory Road very mysterious.
These themes have always been great at conveying the feeling of a grand adventure and they get more intense as you progress. Really great work from the composer(s).

This really reminds me that we need another pokemon game where you can visit other regions. Too bad I never made it to Kanto when I played Pokemon Gold in my childhood, I would've went nuts when I hear the Kanto soundtracks again after beating Pokemon Yellow.

I went to the Pokemon merchandise shop in Tokyo 2 years ago and I could hear rock versions of all these melodies being played! It was so cool and lucky I went before Covid hit!

Alex Kemplen yeah I love Hoenn I started playing Pokémon in 2011 and my first game was pearl and it’s still my favourite to this day but hoenn is definitely a close second

Say what you want about the let's go games, if they continue making let's go games for other games, I would be happy, because personally I enjoyed let's go
