I enjoyed your video a lot, you have a unique voice and a great presentation style. Definitely top tier, and I’m a subscriber. I’ve got to be “that guy” for a little bit though, because I’m a jackass with OCD- Sorry! (I just have a couple of nitpicks, though I’m sure that I missed some things too.) Fulgrim had a Volkite Charger named Firebrand, which you mentioned- but the picture shown was a Volkite Caliver, not a Charger. Konrad Curze also had throwing blades in addition to his lightning claws as a dedicated part of his wargear. The “sickle sword” style blade that Magnus’ “Blade Of An-Nunurta” resembles is called a Khopesh, a sword found in Ancient Egypt. The Raven Guard are the 30K army that I’ve been studying, building, converting, and painting for the past 7+ years. I don’t play any games, but I love the lore and the hobby side of The Horus Heresy, and the XIXth are my chosen Legion. Corvus Corax also had a 3-headed electrified whip, as an ironic callback to the slave-owning prison wardens who were the tyrant rulers of the moon Lycaeus. It was the prison moon of the planet Kiavahr, and the moon where Corax initially landed after the Scattering of the Infant Primarchs, and was raised in secret by rebellious prisoners. (Lycaeus was renamed “Deliverance” after Corax led a successful slave rebellion over the wardens and guards that they suffered under, and it became the Raven Guard Legion Homeworld thereafter.) He also wore a Master-crafted jump pack with long-bladed, razor-sharp, retractable wings called “The Korvidine Pinions”. In addition, he carried two Archaeotech Pistols as part of his main wargear. While it wasn’t one of his dedicated weapons, I think the Heavy Bolter that he wielded one-handed after his weapons and jump pack were rendered unusable during the Dropsite Massacre and subsequent “Raven’s Flight”, (the 95 day evasion and guerilla retaliation that the remaining Raven Guard engaged in immediately following the Massacre, until they were rescued by reinforcements) deserves at least a short mention. Thanks for the great video, and sorry for the book-length comment- I just really dig the Raven Guard. TL/DR: I love Blackbirds, I love Crows, They make the other Legions look like bitches and hos.
Corvus is a gigachad. He may not be as good a fighter as lion or sanguinius considering he ran from konrad while lion clapped those haunter cheeks but he's still one of the best primarch fighters. I'd say he on the khans level if not a little below.
@@secondarytrollaccount yeah well the lion wasn't surrounded by 9 traitor Primarchs and their Legions. Corax had not finished off Lorgar, and Kurze broke one of his claws. He had to flee or be killed.
@@codysing1223 that is a fair point he didnt need to die like ferrus sperg rushing the enemy at maximum rage. He easily could have killed lorgar both times if the choir boy didn't have an army or run. Idk if he would have fared as well against kurze in a 1v1 as lion but he still one of the top dogs around the khan and Lemans level
Vulkan also had Urdrakule, which he crafted under the psychic guidance of the Emperor. It might have been his strongest hammer, sitting in the same class as the other Emperor's other equipment (the Emperor's sword and shield, the Spear of Russ, the Apollonian Spear, etc). It was strong enough to break the metal arms on Ferrus Manus's corpse.
@@DefaultProphetLong story but basically the grief-stricken Iron Hands of the Shattered Legions put together the bits of his corpse like a 31st Millenium scarecrow and were claiming he’d returned
The Lion also uses ranged weapons. During the Great Crusade he wields The Fusil Actineus an archaic plasma-ish pistol and during the Era Indomitus he is also ewuipped with the Arma Luminis or smth like that
Just wanted to say I discovered your channel recently and love what you do here. You do fantastic work and the way you have your videos set up is awesome. You should be proud.
Storm's Teeth is pretty much my favorite 40k weapon right along Hunger and Slake you forgot to mention how Dorn's Chain Sword has a disruption field on each tooth making it a mix between a Chain Sword and Power Sword though I don't know if it's a One-Handed Chainsword or Chain Eviscerator
@@shanegrimes3455 because Russ is the truth; he doesn't need a spear to tell him it. (x Really though he states he doesn't like the feel of the weapon, it has a bad aura. Probably because he can sense the massive psychic energy stored inside it from the Emperors soul
Hammer of Olympia is one of Perturabo's titles. The hammer he uses is Forgebreaker, which was used by Ferrus, recovered by Istvaan survivors and given to Horus who gave it to Perturabo as a sign of his trust. Perturabo then modified it to suit his needs and style.
@@TankCommanderWatchdogforgebreaker was also made originally by Fullgrim, man Perterabo must have found it satisfying to fight Fullgrum with his own work.
Ferrus also had sword Draken (or something like that) made by Vulkan specially for him, and it actually saved his life, as written in "feat of iron" by Nick Kyme
Can't say I quite got that Vulcan and hammers joke, but I assume it wasn't meant poorly. Just to note Vulcan wasn't the tallest primarch (Deamons as you say notwithstanding) Ferrus Manus was the tallest, amusingly described as 'a head' taller than his brothers.
A couple things you missed about bird dad, he not only had the raven's talons, and the heavy bolter and power whip as others mentioned, but he also used a pair of archeotech pistols, duel wielded. And his jump pack's wings are a weapon, cant forget about that.
What other relics and weapons does the Emperor have set aside for his sons? He's gifted the Emperor's Sword to Guilliman and the Emperor's shield to The Lion. What can we expect next?
Horus also during the Crusaide had a lightning Sword and a Primarch sized StromBolter but most people didn’t care about that because they where pretty basic weapons and they both broke during the Ulinor campaign
Most Primarchs had weapons similar to those of their legion, for the same reason why the Emperor had a Boltgun. To inspire their troops. After all the main purpose of the Primarchs was to act as generals, not warriors. Horus could easily replace his Stormbolter and sword, I think the reason why he didn't because of the growing content towards the emperor. Just thinking out loud.
@@nikpapado9785No, that wasn’t it. Horus used it even more than his maze in the first three books of the HH, it’s the weapon he used to go to Davin's moon and the one he used more commonly in the meetings as it was easier for him to weld it. It just disappears from the Lore after Galaxy in flames as far as I know.
Everytime I see Silence or a similar power scythe I die inside, war scythes are more similar to spears and far more efficient. Mostly due to the cutting age rule of cool isn't cool to people who understand such weapons, the cutting blade is more efficient mounted upon the shaft similar to a spear. Mostly because normal scythes are meant to cut grass or reep wheat and plantlife and are useless in killing people unless the blade is mounted on a spear, stakuyi goes a bit more in depth on this but he does make a good point on it.
The Emporers shield was attached to his left or right shoulder pauldron, not used as an actual shield it also must have grown in size as the emperor amour had the ability to chnage size to suit his needs, there is art work of the shield on his Paldron and it looks way to small to be a shield for a primarchj
It was made for a primarch so it can cut through anything, what about your sword? It's the exact same type of sword but it wasn't specifically made for a primarch so it's super weak and can't cut through anything.
Spacewolves lore is probably the only part of 40k lore i dislike. Oh boy do i dislike it which is unfortunate because their models and tech and dreadnoughts look really cool. Friggin "night of the wolf, "the wolf time", etc.... ughh its the stupidest stuff with how much it revolves around a wolf. Its almost as bad as batman putting the word bat in front of every tool he makes but somehow worse.
