If I had a nickel every time Rayla gained a milestone in her character growth from the words of wisdom of older women who relate to her in some way, I'd have 3 nickels, which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened thrice.
I know some people are going to be disappointed that Rayla didn’t apologize for leaving. But even if it doesn’t bother me, I do have a theory that implies that the apology still might happen in season 7, even if they’re already back together. -We know that Rayla is Callum’s guiding light and that his love for her is his innermost truth because of the ritual he performed to thwart the darkness inside him. -We know that said darkness will overwhelm him if he ever uses dark magic again. -We know that he might sacrifice the greater good for someone he loves again, whether it be Rayla or someone else. -We know that Rayla might be unable to kill Callum if Aaravos controls him again, even if she promised she would to help him feel better. -We also know that Rayla has been inspired by Esmeralda to strongly value her relationship with Callum because of Esmeralda’s words to Conrad. -We know that Rayla DEFINITELY wants to say Esmeralda’s words to Callum because of the look on her face when she saw Callum walk into the frozen ship. And those words included “I’m sorry”. In my opinion, I don’t think Esmeralda’s words to Conrad ever would have been included in this season if they weren’t going to have an incredible payoff later. I believe that Callum is going to be compelled to use dark magic again and be controlled by Aaravos again, and then Rayla is going to save him instead of killing him. To fill his darkness with more light than ever before, I believe that she is going to repeat all of Esmeralda’s words to Callum and tell him how sorry she is and that he means more to her than anything in the world. I’m not bothered by the fact that she didn’t apologize this season because of her amazing improvement that she showed when compared to previous seasons, but this is my way of predicting amazing payoff.
I’m behind on the show, but Raylla never acknowledged how wrong she was to leave him for 2 years? You gotta admit that’s lousy relationship writing if your theory doesn’t happen next season
The moment of truth episode where he had to go on an internal journey and found that Rayla was his one truth and source of light almost made me break down. If you ever had feelings like that for somebody in your lifetime it's relatable.

One of my favorite moments this season is when they get the Quasar Diamonds. Callum knew that if he told Rayla, she'd say no. He knows her too well by now. I was so confused as to why he wanted to defeat the monster so bad AND THAT WAS WHY. And Rayla, instead of being mad for being tricked and lied to, hugged Callum for doing something so kind for her. I love this show man
I literally thought season 3 Rayllum was the best...season 6 is beyond. I love Rayllum so much it makes me so happy to see them together again. It was worth season 4 and 5 to see that. Thanks for the video The Cov♥ ♥
@@rceps4999dude that is just not true, season 6 is by far the best season with the world building and stakes being raised and all the character plots and developments, it’s obvious season 4 and 5 were made to set up season 6 which is what they did similar to how season 1 and 2 were made to set up season 3. because if you sit there and say season 1 and 2 weren’t slow as well that’s just a lie, arc 2 feels almost the exact same as arc 1 in terms of how the seasons are made. you don’t have to like the show now but saying it’s gone downhill is just a straight lie

Kinda disappointed we didnt get a proper apology from Rayla, but I think the reason she cried while reading Skall's diary, particularly when she emphasizes her regrets about turning her back on the man she loved, was because she realised she made the exact same mistake with Callum. After that I think she finally lets go of whatever delusions she still had that she did the right thing leaving Callum and makes their relationship priority number 1 from now on which is the next best thing in my opinion.
I think it is also quite clear that Callum doesn't want/need her apology at all. A lot of people feel strongly that Callum should have acted differently towards Rayla and are upset when he doesn't act the way they would. Like, it is completely up to him how he feels about her, it is NOT up to us. Even if we would want an apology, it does not mean he would!
@@TheCov Yeah he didn't necessarily need an apology, but I think he needed some kind of reassurance that he could trust Rayla with his heart again. I think he got that from her in various ways this season such as her being more open to him about her burdens, being more receptive of his support and most importantly her having faith that he could protect himself and protect her as well.
My literal reaction to their moments was crying and screaming 😭 The ammount of excitement i had was doubled when they almost kissed and trippled when they finally got back together. 💜💚💜💚 They did NOT disappoint this time and I can't wait till season 7.
I'm really loving how each season Raylum are together alone with their companions, keeping them close together. I really hope next season they still do another Raylum missions, and I'm also hoping Ezran and Annya might start feeling attachments because their parents worked together to save Annyas kingdom and she seemed determined to protected Ezran and Ezran really seemed to trust her

I absolutely adored the twist of Callum bringing the decoy pearl to the Starscraper, and then Kosmo going back in time and not telling him so he wouldn’t lose courage. SO FREAKING GOOD. And how Callum redid their first meeting was so cute 💛
It wasn't Kosmo going back in time. The black and white was showing him looking at an alternative timeline. He was able to see the past and future and saw what would happen if he told the truth. Not time travel!

I used to be upset about how they were abruptly ripped apart in the comic but now I realize this needed to happen so they could mature and be in a proper relationship. I’m so happy to see them back together and can’t wait for the final season❤ Also it’s confirmed that most of us played 15:35 this moment and the one right before it in Netflix way too many times with a shit eating grin😂😅
Raylas song I swear will be somehow connected to season 7. Callum will go dark and will have to rely on her love, his south star, her light to be himself again.

A tiny moment I wanna make a quick mention! I love how when Rayla’s tearing Callum a new one for using dark magic again, he asks her if it’s because it’s the wrong thing to do, and she denies it and affirms that she doesn’t like it because it hurts HIM. So sweet 🤧

I may not be any good at the theories part of stories but when I see this scene at 15:20 until Callum look towards Katolis to see it burning, you can see him looking at that empty coin thinking if he could imprison Aaravos this way. I do not know how he is going to do that, but I think that what he is going to do, Imprison Aaravos in a coin because you cannot kill him. Aaravos can come back when the stars are realigned for his physical form to return.

I really miss the sassy sarcastic Rayla from Season 1-3. I know the tone of the series changed but hell, soldiers on combat missions usally have the darkest humor possible as a coping mechanism so it would totally work out in a more dangerous enviroment.
